I LOVE this hotel. It is scenic, so well maintained, very comfortable, parking available. The restaurant was wonderful and I cannot say enough about the staff! We only stayed one night but would’ve stayed longer if they had availability. To be in such a historic hotel was priceless. Definitely recommend!

This hotel is in a lovely location with views from the garden across to the temples of Agrigento.|That is it’s good point.|We arrived as part of a group of 10 having high expectations but no warm welcome here. We were allocated basic rooms with small windows and no view (certainly not the character rooms we were expecting - think most of the rooms are in the same new block).|We went for dinner on the first evening which was served not on the terrace as we’d expected but in a conference style restaurant - no choice at all of the gourmet menu we’d been led to expect! The second evening our dinner was actually served in the garden but the food was extremely bland with no effort at all in preparation - the main dish was a tasteless bowl of pasta (again no choice) - couldn’t find the prawns, and our dessert was a slice of pineapple!!!|Really feeling very disappointed by the whole experience.

We absolutely loved this hotel. From the time we checked in and the hospitality we received from Julia. She even walked us to our room as well. We were celebrating our Honeymoon so they made our evening so special as we had dinner at their restaurant overlooking the valley of the temples. The food was 11/10 as every ingredient comes from their farm. The hospitality we received during dinner was amazing and memorable. We would only stay at this hotel if we ever went back as the staff are super courteous and the place is extremely clean. The breakfast they give you in the morning has such a large selection and is delicious. We will never forgot about how special they made us feel. They even took us to the top of the terrace to give us a better view of the temples. This is a great place and the hotel is very historic.

The hotel is set in pretty countryside very close to the Valley of the Temples. It is set around a central courtyard with beautiful gardens and views of the surrounding countryside. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to our rooms, which were traditionally decorated but with modern bathroom and in very good condition and clean. We had pre dinner drinks in the lounge area and the service was formal but friendly. The restaurant is a glass conservatory which had lovely views of the garden and a very nice ambience. Our dinner was of a good quality and a very enjoyable experience. Breakfast the next morning was laid out in an adjoining room with a generous spread of pastries, yoghurts and fruit. After breakfast we were taken up the winding staircase to the top of their heritage watch tower for wonderful views of the local area out to the coast. We had a very enjoyable stay.

A beautiful oasis with great gourmet food. The reception staff are outstanding and very helpful. Just what we needed during a busy schedule touring Scicily. Very close to the Valley of the Temples.

Delicious food at the restaurant, perfect location to visit the valley of temples you can see the temples illuminated at night Standard rooms are really basic, dark, the smell is not fresh, the beds are not very comfortable, everything is a bit dated. No kettle for tea coffee.

Hotel has grown out of a medieval fort - don't worry rooms are all modern. Excellent location re Valley of Temples and the beach at San Leone. Great views from balconies. Restaurant is OK but nothing special and menu is very limited, good wine selection. Breakfast for such a hotel is very poor, basically coffee/croissant.|Staff are very welcoming. No problems parking at front door!! Wifi is free but speed is|like in many places in Sicily very slow, had to use my phone to keep links.

beautiful hotel, gorgeous garden and fantastic service, staff are super friendly and helpful. Food is superb, best cuisine I've ever experienced. you'll enjoy the view from sitting down at the garden viewing the temples, it's just a fantastic feeling.

Yelp
A beautiful location for this rustic inn. You can stroll the private gardens and can also see the Valley of the Temples from the courtyard. The rooms are very simple but functional. There is a small window that fully opens and depending on the room you are in you can see the Mediterranean Sea. The bathroom is small but has excellent water pressure in the shower. Internet, while available, is a weak, unsecured signal. The bed was really hard and the pillows really flat so I didn't sleep as well as I would have liked, unfortunately. If you get a room on the 2nd floor, there is no elevator so hopefully you packed light as you will need to carry your belongings up the stairs. The included breakfast is quite good and contains bacon and eggs, various cookies, meats and cheeses and these wonderful croissants that are stuffed with pistachio or vanilla creme. I had dinner in the same restaurant ( there is nothing else within walking distance) and had a delicious piece of fish topped with eggplant and potatoes. And they made a pasta with pumpkin sauce for the first course which was terrific! The location is perfect for after a visit to the Valley of the Temples. And they have lovely gardens and a center courtyard for just sitting and relaxing while listening to the fountain. The hotel alone would warrant a 3 rating on its own but the food in the restaurant pushed it to a 4!
