The hotel is set in pretty countryside very close to the Valley of the Temples. It is set around a central courtyard with beautiful gardens and views of the surrounding countryside. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to our rooms, which were traditionally decorated but with modern bathroom and in very good condition and clean. We had pre dinner drinks in the lounge area and the service was formal but friendly. The restaurant is a glass conservatory which had lovely views of the garden and a very nice ambience. Our dinner was of a good quality and a very enjoyable experience. Breakfast the next morning was laid out in an adjoining room with a generous spread of pastries, yoghurts and fruit. After breakfast we were taken up the winding staircase to the top of their heritage watch tower for wonderful views of the local area out to the coast. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Hotel has grown out of a medieval fort - don't worry rooms are all modern. Excellent location re Valley of Temples and the beach at San Leone. Great views from balconies. Restaurant is OK but nothing special and menu is very limited, good wine selection. Breakfast for such a hotel is very poor, basically coffee/croissant.|Staff are very welcoming. No problems parking at front door!! Wifi is free but speed is|like in many places in Sicily very slow, had to use my phone to keep links.

We absolutely loved this hotel. From the time we checked in and the hospitality we received from Julia. She even walked us to our room as well. We were celebrating our Honeymoon so they made our evening so special as we had dinner at their restaurant overlooking the valley of the temples. The food was 11/10 as every ingredient comes from their farm. The hospitality we received during dinner was amazing and memorable. We would only stay at this hotel if we ever went back as the staff are super courteous and the place is extremely clean. The breakfast they give you in the morning has such a large selection and is delicious. We will never forgot about how special they made us feel. They even took us to the top of the terrace to give us a better view of the temples. This is a great place and the hotel is very historic.

What an absolute gem of a hotel to find. |I can highly recommend this hotel to stay at, the villa is over 700 years old so as you can imagine it is full of character and history. ||The room we were given had the most amazing view overlooking the gardens with a view of the valley of the temples!!!!|The room was spotless clean, antique furniture in-keeping with the style of the hotel. The bathroom was quite modern with everything that you needed. ||The outside areas of the hotel are beautiful.||Please if you are staying here or nearby you must have dinner at this hotel, it was by far the best food and service we had while travelling around Sicily. ||The breakfast was self service, beautifully presented in a wonderful setting. ||My only regret was not staying here for longer, they offer bikes, there is horse riding, the beach is not far away and obviously the must visit is valley of the temples. ||I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and I can’t wait to return and stay longer.

Lovely grounds and courtyard. Dinner very nice but service a bit old fashioned. Their olive oil is delicious. Stayed one night after visiting the temples. Felt like a great hotel for a wedding. Breakfast was ok. Lack of hot options but good sweet offers and fresh juice. Room and bathroom fine but no sound proofing from people above or outside.

Amazing place. Perfect hotel. Very delicious breakfast with freshly squeezed orange and lemon juices. The owner is also kind, and their own olive oil is excellent. If you visit, make sure to buy some oil as well. The evening view from Room 106 overlooking the Valley of the Temples is breathtaking, with Hera's Temple being particularly stunning. The staff is very friendly, and the bar has a great atmosphere.

Beautiful property with an outstanding restaurant. Staff was very welcoming. Excellent breakfast with a wide variety. Some foods like olive oil and nuts are grown on site. Free parking and convenient to the Valley of Temples. No complaints!

The restaurant at Hotel Foresteria Baglio della Luna was a random find and we absolutely enjoyed our lunch experience here! Seemed like a really nice spot for a stay as well! “Hotel Foresteria Baglio della Luna is a 4-star boutique hotel located in Agrigento, Italy, near the famous Valley of the Temples. The hotel is set in a charming, historic complex dating back to the 13th century and features elegant quarters, refined dining, and picturesque views of the valley and surrounding countryside.”

Yelp
A beautiful location for this rustic inn. You can stroll the private gardens and can also see the Valley of the Temples from the courtyard. The rooms are very simple but functional. There is a small window that fully opens and depending on the room you are in you can see the Mediterranean Sea. The bathroom is small but has excellent water pressure in the shower. Internet, while available, is a weak, unsecured signal. The bed was really hard and the pillows really flat so I didn't sleep as well as I would have liked, unfortunately. If you get a room on the 2nd floor, there is no elevator so hopefully you packed light as you will need to carry your belongings up the stairs. The included breakfast is quite good and contains bacon and eggs, various cookies, meats and cheeses and these wonderful croissants that are stuffed with pistachio or vanilla creme. I had dinner in the same restaurant ( there is nothing else within walking distance) and had a delicious piece of fish topped with eggplant and potatoes. And they made a pasta with pumpkin sauce for the first course which was terrific! The location is perfect for after a visit to the Valley of the Temples. And they have lovely gardens and a center courtyard for just sitting and relaxing while listening to the fountain. The hotel alone would warrant a 3 rating on its own but the food in the restaurant pushed it to a 4!
