Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! It’s located in the quiet old town of Arta which is beautiful in of it self. The hotel building is an interesting amalgamation of several houses (I think) which add to is uniqueness. It’s light and airy and at the same time rustic and old. The hotel has been renovated to a high standard offering a genuine Majorcan impression while at the same time being modern and minimalistic :)! The staff are amazingly hospitable and friendly which made us feel so welcomed! We would absolutely come back next time we are in this part of Mallorca!

We had a wonderful stay at Forn Nou in the heart of Artà. The hotel has a charming rustic feel while still offering modern touches. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh coffee from a proper espresso machine at the bar. The room had a recent TV with smart features, which made it easy to watch more than just regular channels (ARD and ZDF Mediathek can be watched via web browser for those who know). The rooftop terrace was lovely - small but never crowded during our stay, and always with a spot free to relax. The owner was very friendly and genuinely helpful, not just in making our stay enjoyable but also with tips on what to see and do in Artà and the surrounding area. Parking is about a 5-minute walk away on a gravel lot, which was no problem at all. All in all, a great place to stay if you want to enjoy Artà’s old town with a personal touch.

From the moment you’ll walk into this charming hotel you feel sudden tranquility and at peace. It’s located in a heart of town with multiple restaurants nearby just a few minutes walk away. The interior is unique and beautiful. At the reception there’s a polite note where members of the staff can be easily found. The restaurant serves phenomenal breakfast with plenty of tasty choices. The octopus as a starter for dinner is a must! The rooms are clean, private, spacious, bright and you’re instantly feeling at home. The beds are huge and extremely comfortable. The rooftop garden has a mini pool and loungers overlooking beautiful Artá. The owner as well as other staff members couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. The only downside of my stay was that I couldn’t stay there longer :) I’ll definitely be back and would recommend Forn Nou Hotel and restaurant to anyone who appreciates the best things in life :)

We had a wonderful stay at Forn Nou Hotel. The room was nice, tidy, and very comfortable. The host, Tony, is an exceptionally kind and open person with his heart in the right place — he truly makes you feel at home from the very first moment. The breakfast was excellent, the coffee was exceptionally tasty, and the restaurant serves top-quality products. We were traveling with a bicycle, which was safely stored in a dedicated area. It was an absolute pleasure to be a guest at Forn Nou Hotel, and we would gladly return!

+ Great location, service, hospitality and breakfast. The rooms are okay and well organized. The breakfast has a variety of choices and offers fresh fruit and coffees each day. It’s also a 5 min walk to multiple free parking spaces, ideal with suitcases. - Some rooms/places look unfinished and could use a touch up. The hotel has a main building and two extra buildings where they also have rooms. This means you have to make a little walk across the street for your breakfast and visiting the pool. It isn’t the worst but it would be good to know this in advance.

A lovely little gem in the heart of Arta! Stayed here for 8 nights on a recommendation of a friend and it was just perfect! The location is spot on- in the heart of the old town. The parking is 5minutes on foot (free municipal parking). The atmosphere is very quaint and elegant- typical Mallorcan style. Very elegantly furnished. The staff are very nice. The breakfast was great with a variety of things for every taste. All in all- an unforgettable stay and a great decision to book this charming hotel.

I booked what was written as a "Junior Suite with Balcony" to celebrate my partner’s birthday. However, the room we were given had no balcony. Even when I showed the manager the booking confirmation on my phone, he never even looked at the screen, an attitude that already said a great deal. The most disappointing part was the way the problem was handled. The requirement was simple: either honour the room category that was booked, or, if that was impossible, clearly explain the reason and offer a proper alternative. Instead, the manager focused on excuses rather than an apology, repeating the same explanations and wasting our time. We were left waiting indefinitely to be moved and effectively lost an entire day of our trip, ruined the birthday of my partner. Only the next day were we finally given the correct room. But what ultimately prompted me to write this review happened afterward: during dinner, one staff member set a plate down in front of me with a loud, deliberate thud and made a brief remark that sounded unmistakably like a sneer. It may seem small, but experiencing that after the issue had supposedly been resolved left me deeply uneasy. That single moment motivated me to leave this account. Another point must be made very clearly. Among all the guests I saw, I was the only person of East Asian background; my partner and everyone else were Western. Yet I was the only one treated with open discourtesy, including the repeated incidents of a plate being slammed down and those sneering tones. I am convinced this was more than a simple misunderstanding. It was the only time I have been treated in such a way in Mallorca because of my appearance, and the sense of humiliation remains vivid. Throughout all this, the manager kept saying, again and again, "You won't find a hotel like this anywhere else," displaying a kind of pride that defies belief. After delivering the worst service I have experienced in my entire life, he insisted in front of guests that his hotel was the best? a logic that was astonishing, as if the praise was really meant only for himself. During every conversation I felt as though I was speaking to a wall; my words simply did not register. That self-congratulation remains impossible for me to accept, especially since this was only the first of seven hotels we stayed in on this trip through the region. Every hotel that followed was brilliant: staffs unfailingly kind, rooms exactly as promised or even better! And some of them were even half the price of this one. The contrast was so striking that the moment we stepped into the lobby of the next hotel the memory of this first one began to fade. Based on this experience, I find the reservation and customer service practices of this hotel unreliable. If you are expecting a "Junior Suite with Balcony," there is every chance you may face the same ordeal. While the blonde woman at the front desk was friendly, the rest of the staff seemed ready to deliver the worst service to paying guests. I cannot recommend this place, neither for a special occasion nor even as an ordinary stopover. breakfast was good

I stayed here for 6 nights with my sister and we found it an amazing place to stay, right in the heart of Artá. The rooftop pool provides a beautiful quiet sanctuary overlooking the city and surrounding mountains. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the breakfast is also really great, with local ingredients and dishes. Would really recommend!!!
