What a great experience we had at this hotel. Service was amazing, the building has so many great attractions. The room we had was great, we were in 501 which is on the top floor and the view from the bathroom alone was stunning. Perfect location to walk around the old town and have a great touring and dining experience.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel has a great location, and the main town and lifts/cable cars were withing walking distance. The breakfast was very good.

I wish I knew the front desk attendants names, especially the young woman who helped us check in. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and her especially so as she helped us navigate the tricky driving on the tiny streets. This is a beautiful hotel with a lot of history. We just felt really welcomed and comfortable during our entire stay. It's located in the perfect place, right at the edge of the centro. If we ever come back to Perugia, this is definitely where we will be staying!

We loved this little hotel. Came to Perugia from our home about an hour north of here for a museum exhibit. Rather than drive back home we decided to stay the night. The Hotel is clean, has charm, and couldn't be in a cuter spot, down a little vicolo (alley) off the main Corso. We'll stay here again.

You cannot access this place by car to drop off baggage. The streets are too narrow. This is not mentioned in the hotel description. Parking is a considerable distance away. The lift only goes to the 4th floor. We had to climb stairs/drag bags to our fifth floor room. Wifi intermittent. Breakfast was good but coffee machine made coffee required standing in line to get some. Bathroom tiny like most Italian hotels but clean and functional. TV and a/c remotes not in the room. I heard they have to be checked out from the front desk. Staff pleasant and helpful. I found the hotel inconvenient on many levels.i would not recommend staying here, especially if you have any luggage.

The hotel is located in a very old building but has been very nicely modernised. It enjoys a fabulous location very close to the centre but tucked away down a quiet street ensuring a good night's sleep. Our room had clearly been recently refurbished, looked modern & smart and was very comfortable. The bathroom was new and very high quality with our only minor quibble being the lack of anywhere to hang clothes. The building also has lovely roof terrace on the 4th floor & an indoor sitting/reading room on the 3rd floor. Finally, all the staff were superb, really friendly & helpful, which ensured we had an excellent stay. Highly recommend.

Yelp
A quaint and cozy hotel in the heart of Perugia. Stayed here for only 2 nights. Located right across from a lovely vino wine bar. Very friendly and accomadating staff. Just a few steps away from the city center, shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend :) If you're interested in a lovely dinner spot I'd highly recommend going to Fontanella di porta sole ristoronte, just a few blocks away fm the hotel. The food is just delicious and so homey, you feel like you're having dinner at a friends home. The owner is an exceptional chef!!! 5 stars for thé divine food and 5 stars to the chef for his hospitality, and exceptional skills in the kitchen!!

Yelp
Friendly staff, nice clean room with fridge, wifi, and located within short walking distance from shops and restaurants. Breakfast included.

Yelp
No manager in existence. Young, inexperienced staff lost our passports and insisted they had returned them to us. When they did locate the documents, they realized they hadn't even done their job of checking us in. Pretty hotel with absolutely no management and useless staff. Skip this stinker!

Yelp
Worst traveling/hotel experience I've ever had. Reserved the room with the fresco months in advance and when we show up they say it's not available. The girl at the desk asked for our reservations and when we showed her the written document she called the manager/owner (oops!). While we were waiting my wife and I decided to use the computer down the hall to research our rights in a matter such as this. The manager/owner's mother shows up, trying to distract us form our research. She first offered to put us in a far inferior room than the one we had reserved and we declined. Then she said she could put us in a comparable hotel nearby. "Nearby" was a 10 minute cab ride to an airport hotel that smelled of cigarettes and cheap deodorant. Finally, after 2 hours of being given the run-around, my wife asked for the number of the U.S. Embassy so we could enquire what to do in this situation. That seemed to spur the owners of the Hotel Fortuna into action. They immediately had our cab take us to a hotel in town that provided accommodations equal to or better than what we had reserved at the Hotel Fortuna, which is what they should have done in the first place. Although the hotel itself is quaint and right in Perugia, they treated us very poorly.
