The stay in the hotel was a good experience. The rooms here were clean and spacious. The food was good and the flavour was great. We were even able to see the sunset and sunriseview from the roof of the hotel. Location is perfect as it is very close to the sea and all the important amenities needed. Overall it is was fantastic hotel stay.

I started my 1 week trip from 21.06.2025 till 27.06.2205 in Tamil Nadu wherein i didn't face any kind of issues with other Rooms where I booked the Rooms for family from Make My Trip. Where in with this Hotel, i faced the unique and most horrible/surprising Issue with Facilities / Manager Behavior (Stay dates 27.06.2025 Check in and 28.06.2025 Check out) I went with my family (Along with a 78-year-old Mother and a 2-and-a-half-year-old baby). Once we reached there, we came to know that induction stoves (Or any kind of Electrical cooking devices) are not allowed inside the facilities as per their policy. When I requested them to allow and when I said that we used to carry this induction stove to cook food for the baby (Considering her age, food habits, etc.), they denied allowing the Stove. The way manager behavior is really rude, because, even when we told them and when we kept the induction stove in our car (Where we parked our car in their parking section) still he didn't allow us to check-in the room as he demanded to handover the induction stove to their custody. Without that, they were not ready to give the room key for check-in. When I questioned the same, he said arrogantly that "They can't come and check in the room very often" (It means they have clearly trust issue with the guest/customer So when I spoke with the Make My Trip agent, they also tried to talk to them to allow the stove, unfortunately, that also failed. My questions are 1. Nowhere its mentioned that the guest or customer should not carry their induction stove in the room for cooking (Neither in the Fortune hotel property rule nor in Make My Trip while booking), as I clearly go through each property's rules carefully. 2. No rule or per-intimation is given that the room will not hand over the key till the guest or customer hands over their owned induction stove to the hotel manager, or we were not allowed to keep our owned induction stove in our own car (Is it not harassment and inhumanity?) 3. When I questioned about the same, the hotel manager rudely said that we can't mention all kinds of rules on the Make My Trip portal. In that case, how does the guest or customer know about each property rule (I think they are not transparent) 4. The hotel staff (Don't want to mention the name of that person, considering the job security for him) said that the hotel is not suitable for a family who has kids or babies or infants. They only try to look for earning money in all possible ways. Please don't book this hotel if you are planning to visit with a baby or infant, or with your child.

Good big place to stay by the beach. Nice and secluded. Have a couple of local shops nearby too. Good for families. If you're from the north this is the place for you to go as food is also made to cater the north crowd. A Great view of the beach and nice place to chill as well

We traveled all the way from Haryana to Rameswaram and stayed at Hotel Fortune for 3 days, booking 3 rooms. Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing due to several issues:| 1. Room AC not working: On the first day, one of the room’s AC was not functioning. After repeated complaints, we were moved to a new room, but only after a 3-hour delay, which was very inconvenient.| 2. Unhelpful restaurant service: The menu lists several items, but when we asked for them, the food manager kept saying they were unavailable. This happened consistently, and it felt like we were being denied basic service despite the menu options.| 3. Limited lunch timings: Lunch service ends strictly at 2:30 PM, with no flexibility. This was challenging when returning from sightseeing slightly late.| 4. Unfriendly and rigid front desk: On the last day, we requested a late checkout for just one room until 1 PM, as our train was at 9 PM and we had senior citizens with us. Despite having been given a room late on the first day, the reception staff (specifically a person named Venkat) was extremely rude and outright refused without any courtesy or understanding. There was no willingness to accommodate even a simple request for comfort and convenience.||Overall, the service and hospitality did not meet expectations. The staff seemed indifferent, and the lack of empathy and professionalism left a bad impression. We do not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

I stayed for 3 Nights. It was a wonderful stay. We had arrived at odd hours and we didn't face any issues in check in. The location was very good in the outskirts but very close proximity to Agni Theertham. The hotel is sea facing which makes the hotel special. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel serves good and tasty North Indian food. South Indian foods are available only in the morning breakfast. Friendly staff from Receptionist Mr.Ramana, Manager Mr. Palani to Restaurant captain Mr. Vignesh. There would be no problems when it comes to assistance and providing best of services. Overall the best stay experience this vacation.

Rooms are good and well maintained. But but but, dont get carried away by “sea facing”. They have got “very partial sea view” only from balcony. Breakfast is good. Actually whole rameswaram offers good breakfast. I booked sea facing, but allotted partial sea view from balcony rooms. When i asked they asked 5000/- more to shift. Pure Marketing tactics. Otherwise everything well. 10am checkout is very bad.

I had a very good time with my extended family at Hotel Fortune. Rooms are spacious, location is perfect, not too far from the temple, neither too close! All staff were very helpful and courteous. They even arranged an egg-less cake on a short notice for a family celebration. The only gripe I had was the effectiveness of ac in those large rooms. They can either put a larger capacity ac or fill the room with some furniture. Breakfast options were limited, but rava dosa was really good. Overall, I had a very nice and peaceful stay and will love to come back again.

Worst hotel in Rameshwaram. Rooms are unhygienic & their Ac’s are not workings properly. Staff behaviour is very rude and they don’t co operate with client. “ Bas Chalta Hae Wala Attitude”. They have lots of unnecessary rules and regulations, only lunch and dinner available in room but within 2 pm by invade you go after 2 pm they don’t serve lunch & straight up say no on your face. They don’t co operate with you straight nooooo”….says Kitchen is closed at 2pm in the afternoon. Also Wi-Fi service is not there in the hotel. They say guest Wi-Fi is there but couldn’t connect one
