Hotel Francis Drake by DOT Tradition

Service was great... location is wonderful...free breakfast was very good ...bedding and bed need to be improved but worked for a enjoyable visit to this historic town!

Great Hotel, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Only thing is the rooms our directed to the street which is quite noisy. Perhaps you can choose a room directed to the patio.

This is really a bad choice of hotels, and we have stayed all over Mexico in this same class of hotel. This is one of the worst regarding value or comfort for the price. The breakfast is a joke. The AC is either on HIGH or non- existent. Most of all the staff from the front desk to the restaurant are totally indifferent and unfriendly. The only good thing about this hotel is that the housekeeping ladies were nice. Go somewhere else where your business may be appreciated. Also, there is NO elevator. We are in our 70s and no one on checking or checkout offer to lend a hand with our bags. There were three young women just sitting watching us schleppe our bags. This is interesting, when out taxi arrived on our departing suddenly a hotel man appeared to scuttle our bags we had brought down the stairs to the lobby. He rolled them to the front door. He wanted a tip and like suckers we gave him one ... just to not look like rude tourists.

A totally enjoyable stay at this hotel. We love Campeche

Clean and simple. Very basic hotel. Our needs were met for a one-night stay. The location was good, and the hotel was in a quiet area, so we slept well. There is a protected parking connected with the hotel.|

WiFi does not work (fixed after asking). Bed linen stick to you, feel plasticky. Pillows are of very high version only. Bed mattress feels uneven (old?). Good parking. Reception friendly. Not 4 stars, maybe 2-3.

I dont get how this is a 4 star hotel, the reception looks good but as soon as you enter your room you see that it doesnt deserve its rating, the sheets were stained in 2 out of 3 rooms we used, the AC is either on or off so you can choose between tropical heat or freezing cold, the rooms felt very old and the windows in most rooms offered only a view on walls, the tap in the bathroom literally sprayed the water everywhere when turned on and the room offered a fridge with nothing inside. the good things were that the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good aswell, eventhough i would strongly advise not to visit this hotel
