We stayed here just before Christmas. The hotel is a true boutique hotel in a quirky old building with lots of lovely period features, this means the rooms are a bit small but very well decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The shower water pressure could be a bit better but and there was no tea/coffee/or water (other than tap) in the rooms. Don't let this out you off though everything else is great! Nearly alll of the staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful (the breakfast staff weren't as friendly as everyone else) The hotel is a in a great located on Sodermalm and an easy walk to Gamla Stan. We could explore the city easily on foot from here. There is no pool like many city hotels, but the Forsgrénska Badet was only 5 minutes walk away and has a pool and sauna for a reasonable price. We are in the restaurant for my birthday it's small plates which I don't normally like, but executed very well. Surprisingly the stand out dish was the Kimchi Cauliflower it was amazing, as was the ice cream with caramel sauce. Now the main event.... The Breakfast!!! It was amazing, one of the best breakfast buffets I have had particularly in Europe where breakfast can be a big let down. There was a huge range of savoury and sweet items including a cream cake! I would stay here again without any doubt when I come back to Stockholm.

You MUST stay here. The hotel was the MOST charming, sweetest and we even extended our stay. I do believe in honest reviews, our first room was not suitable for 2 people for 3 days. We very kindly asked for another available room and we were accommodated the next day (which was totally fine). The room was still cozy but LOVELY. The staff is out of this world from communication to accommodations. I can not recommend enough.

My favorite hotel in Stockholm! An excellent location next to the Slussen subway station on the northern tip of Södermalm, next to the old town.||The building is historic and has been beautifully renovated. The rooms are decorated in a Victorian style with a modern touch. There is a cozy bar & the restaurant features an open kitchen. Highly recommend the breakfast - a spectacular buffet! ||I can’t say enough about the staff. They are all professional, experienced and very service minded.||Whether it is for business or holiday travel, Frantz is a great choice

Incredible location. 400 years of history seep through its walls whilst at the same time, it has all the modern amenities available . Amazing staff. So friendly and obviously all enjoy working there. The food was outstanding and so were the cocktails! We couldn’t wait for our breakfast which was one of the best we have ever experienced. All SO GOOD!! Highly recommended

We enjoyed an incredible 5-night stay at this cozy, boutique hotel where the staff— from the front desk to the bartender to the dining room team— treat guests with warm hospitality. ||The included breakfast is sumptuous and much better than the one at another, more expensive hotel we stayed at for a few days in Stockholm. ||The dinner experience was also delicious and delivered with thoughtfulness.||The front desk staff were incredibly hospitable; honestly, it felt like you were family.||There's a cozy bar with an extraordinary bartender. ||This is a gem of a hotel, with an extraordinary staff that pays close attention to its guests and offers outstanding hospitality.||We can't wait to return.

Just a lovely stay here, from beginning to end. We arrived super early and they welcomed us with a cup of coffee and rushed to get our room ready for us long before the scheduled check-in time. The room was super clean and comfortable and pretty darn spacious. The breakfast is amazing - all super fresh ingredients and the cream cake is so light and tasty. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend.

I booked this hotel for work and then stayed for two days with a friend. I can’t say enough good things about the staff at the hotel - they are so kind, welcoming, and helpful. The bar and outdoor area is nice even in the winter and the breakfast was delicious! My friend was gluten free and she asked if they had recommendations for bakeries nearby- one of the workers went out and brought her a gluten free cardamom bun! I would absolutely stay there again, especially since it’s right next to Slussen train station.

Great hotel with amazing staff!! The food was incredible, cocktails made to perfection, rooms super cozy and chic. Great location for getting around town but not too “touristy”. 100% will come back and tell friends about this wonderful gem.
