We had a very comfortable stay at Hotell Fridhemsgatan, the hotel delivered against expectations with a nice room, good bathroom, quality breakfast, friendly staff and a commercial grade gym. Good wifi, the hotel is closer to Mora Strand train station than Mora C train station.

I’m very thankful to the kind employees and all their help getting me where I needed to be. It is a great location. Don’t be thrown by the look of the building on Google. It’s a great place. They had an incredible breakfast and weekdays a dinner. I stayed 5 nights. My only advice is - in winter, it is not walkable from Central Station. You will need a taxi to get to and from the station. I would definitely stay again.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Mora, Sweden and must say that the location was perfect. It was situated in the heart of the city. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any queries or concerns. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities. However, I must mention that the beds were a tad on the soft side, which may not suit everyone's preference. Additionally, the rooms on the ground floor were quite noisy, as they faced the street. So if you're a light sleeper, you may want to choose a room on a higher floor. Overall, the hotel was perfect for a short stay in Mora. It offered good value for money and was situated in a convenient location. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Mora.

Hotel with a personality. Clean, peaceful and very comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Have stayed in several fine hotels across Sweden during our holiday and this is the best overall. Breakfast buffet is very good, dinner is excellent. Highly recommend this hotel. Would happily stay again if/when my travels bring me back to Sweden.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. We booked the family room which was very spacious and stays for two nights. Breakfast was awesome with local products and a big variety. In the reception there is a machine for free coffee, tea and chocolate. In the hotel you can also buy Dalarna souvenirs for a better price than in the mora’s shop in the center. We booked directly from hotel’s website and so we got included in the room’s price dinner served at 18:00. We loved our stay and we definitely return.

The hotel receptionist was friendly and helpful when I telephoned to make our booking. We arrived after a long drive to be welcomed with a big smile from the receptionist who told us he was originally from Iran. Clean and attractive bedroom decorated with Dala horses. Loved the book of colour photos of Mora on the desk. We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening - good value and tasty. serving ourselves from the buffet. I must add that the breakfast buffet is superb with a wide selection of cold plates and some of the tastiest bread I’ve ever eaten in Sweden. ||The hotel has free parking. We had a plug-in hybrid but most of the electric sockets in the car park were defective. However this is typical across Sweden and not just this hotel. ||We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

Loved our time there. After a long drive, we arrived to peace and quiet. The breakfast and dinner are both buffet style but are full of choice and flavour. We loved the tomato soup and vegetarian lasagne. I would love to go back in the depths of winter because of the lovely homely feel of this hotel!

Plain on the outside but the inside is super cute with Dala horses everywhere, enlargements of people enjoying the outdoors (skiing, hiking, more) on the room, even books in the rooms showcasing this wonderful area. The breakfast buffet was the best we had in our tour of Scandinavia: Nine kinds of jam.Homemade breads (with recipe). Several kinds of yogurts, fruits, and milks. Local sausage and cheese. Salmon, home made herring, home made musli, and ginger energy drink. It is a block from the lakefront walk, a block from the pedestrian main street, 5 minutes to groceries and restaurants, and only about 15 min. walk to the Vasaloppet and Zorn museums. And if you buy your Dala souvenirs here they benefit local charity.
