This is a lovely elegant hotel just on the edge of the city centre. The public areas are delightful. Breakfast (excellent) is served in the lovely dining room, with starched linen tablecloths and napkins and there is also a beautiful lounge where you can have drinks or a light meal in the evening. Our room was very nice, with lots of space and comfortable bed and armchair. It overlooked a charming courtyard. The hotel staff were all very attentive, efficient and friendly. We really enjoyed our three nights here and would happily return.

Something is seriously wrong with Tripadvisor's ranking system to place this well established first rate five star property in the middle of the Leipzig hotel pack. This hotel most definitely deserves to be ranked at position one or two!||||The Fürstenhof is for sure the Steigenberger's only serious competitor - at a somewhat lower price. Every other luxury hotel in town, including the Westin or the Marriott or the Adina are at best at a four star level. I have tried them all.||||I've stayed at the Fürstenhof over a dozen times and have been absolutely delighted every time. The hotel is a slightly old fashioned, but well maintained classic grand hotel in an historic building that doesn't pretend to be hip.||||The location is very good - a short walk from the central train station and to the historic city center and shopping district.||||The staff is uniformly pleasant, professional, attentive and helpful. The rooms are reasonably sized, well maintained, very clean and comfortable. Above all they are quiet! ||||Try and get a room rate including breakfast. The breakfast buffet with made to order hot dishes is absolutely delightful. The fresh squeezed orange juice is the best I've had outside of Florida. Unfortunately at 32€ the buffet is way too expensive, if not bundled with the room rate. There are plenty of cafes in the city center offering much more reasonably priced breakfast.||||The hotel bar is very comfortable and discreet with first rate cocktails and a piano player every night after 9:30.||||I have two minor quibbles - the standard rooms lack coffee and tea making facilities and the pool water is a bit chilly.

Close to the hauptbahnhof, Hotel Fuerstenhof offers easy access to the old centre of Leipzig. It is a smaller hotel, with a lovely intimate atmosphere. We booked a one night stay at the last minute, in a basic double room, but were delighted with the quality of the accommodation - comfortable, well equipped and quiet. Can't comment on the restaurant, but there's a delightful, welcoming lounge and bar on the ground floor. The standard of service was very high, both professional and very friendly. Next time, I hope we'll be able to stay for longer. Excellent choice and exceptional value in a beautiful city.

The hotel is located right in the center of Leipzig within walking distance to most things.||A wonderful hotel with spacious rooms and great service.||||The hotel also offers a nice spa area with pool and sauna. The breakfast is very good and the staff always tries to fulfill all your wishes.||||This is a 1st class hotel and possible a little more expensive than other hotels, but you get what you pay for, as always.||||If you appreciate peace and quiet and very good service, then you should choose this hotel. You won´t regret it….

Amazing experience! Stayed here a week and was impressed by the character building, the outstanding staff, delicious breakfast menu options, and facilities. The cleaners pay close attention to personal preferences. For example, I left classical music playing on the TV when I left my room on the first day and they had this station playing when I arrived at my room every evening for the rest of the week. Only downside is the cost of drinks in the hotel bar - holy smokes! I was quoted 15 euros by the bartender when I asked for a gin and tonic - what?! But otherwise, only good things to say, especially for teetotallers.

This hotel is an absolute must for business or personal travel. Right next to train station a turn of the century home, once belonging to a wealthy banker, converted and totally renovated to a 5 star hotel. The rooms are large, 12 foot ceilings, a regular bar, and a separate wine only bar. My work colleagues were just as impressed as I was!! Easy walk to main center.

This is an outstanding hotel in the centre of this fine city. The staff, the rooms and the restaurants are all of excellent quality - highly recommended! An easy walk to the rail, trams and bus stations and a gentle stroll to the Market Square and many of the fine architectural and historical sites of Leipzig.

Wifi exists, but doesn't work. Breakfast is €25, parking is €31 which is unbelievably higher than anywhere. Staff comes unawaited during the day to clean or to lay towels before the bed - nice, but we don't like people coming when we stated that we don't need cleaning on that day. Lights in the room are very dim. The personal is however very nice and the inner yard is wonderful.

Yelp
A wonderful hotel - highly recommended. We have been there twice with the make-over-event Princess for one day - and ran into issues each time, hence the four star rating "only". There is room for improvement.

Yelp
This hotel is not the best I have every stayed in by any means, but it's still wonderful. The price is crazy cheap ( compared to other 5 star ) and the location is prime for finding your way to and from all major attractions. You can't beat the front desk and service staff or the room they gave us. It's truly almost to big and the staff response is much much quicker then any place I have experienced in Europe in a long time. If anyone is planning to stay here I recommend room 303 (seen in my pictures ) and I also would like you to know that Berlin is 75 euro and one hour away. It's the perfect day trip for next to nothing.
