Hotel G Yangon

Loved this hotel, and ideal for a short-stay. In a central location down-town, it's close to so many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The in-house restaurant was hideously expensive so we preferred the local food around the area anyway. Staff at reception were super friendly and helpful. The room was fabulous- clean, chic and well-designed (albeit very small and sometimes felt cramped.. again, best suited for short-stays).

The room was quite small. and bathroom also.But the staffs were friendly, kind and smiled.The location is good to reach city center on foot.near there are many restaurants and shops.

Excellent stay with outstanding service||My experience at Hotel G Yangon was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The hotel has a modern, comfortable atmosphere and everything was well maintained.||I would especially like to commend the front desk team — Myint Myat and Ricky. They were extremely polite, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. Their assistance, warm attitude, and attention to detail made a real difference and made me feel truly welcomed.||Thanks to their excellent service, my stay was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. I highly recommend Hotel G Yangon to anyone visiting Yangon, and I will definitely choose to stay here again.

It provide best facilities. Restrooms are very clean and comfortable use.Room facilities are very good for longstaying guest. Breakfast menu can be chosen not only asian food but also western food.It is very enjoyable for me. Hotel G staff especially Mr Myint Myat,Ms Thiri, Mr Myo and Ms Noe are providing special facilities for every guest.

Ricky is very helpful. He assists me with checking in and out, even when I arrive late and all the rooms are full. He is a genuinely kind person. The room is clean and tidy, although the toilet and bathroom are a bit small. Overall it's pretty good. Close to ATM on the other side of the road.

Really small rooms with no closet space and and narrow individual stalls for the toilet and shower. Restaurant downstairs has a European type menu with expensive prices. I can eat 8n Yangon for 2 days for the price of one meal. Location is very convenient to Junction city, Shwedagon pagoda and the area is cleaner and quieter than the downtown area. Cheap noodle shops and markets nearby.

A Disappointing Stay Compared to Past Experiences I have stayed at this hotel frequently in the past and have always been satisfied with the service. However, my recent stay was disappointing due to a significant lapse in your standard procedures. First Issue: We checked out of Room 413 on November 4, 2025, at around 10:00 AM. We waited at the reception until the room was inspected and were explicitly told that no items were left behind. Unfortunately, this was not true, as we had indeed left a personal item in the room. Second Issue: The following day, November 5, we called at 5:30 PM to inquire about our lost item. We described what it was. The receptionist who answered did not seem to check the lost-and-found log thoroughly and gave no indication of being aware of any found items. They simply said they would call us back. They did call back later to confirm they had the item and had stored it since the previous day. This leads to my main concern: You already had our contact number on file. As a basic customer service standard, the hotel should have proactively called us as soon as the item was found after check-out. We should not have had to discover this ourselves a day later. While I am grateful the item was safe, the overall handling of this situation showed a clear decline in attentive service.
