Hotel Gala Placidia

Fantastic hotel!||I really have nothing bad to say about our stay here. Three friends and I stayed for 5 nights all inclusive.||Check in was great, Miguel was quick and super helpful. We arrived early but was able to check into one of the rooms. Miguel kindly called up to let us know the second room wasn’t available but they had made another one available for us instead. ||Food was very good, plenty of choice and all cooked nicely. It wasn’t a huge buffet but honestly it didn’t need to be. We didn’t have one bad meal! We only made breakfast once (woke up too late most mornings 😂) but the one day we did eat it was tasty! ||Plenty of drink options! Bar staff are really friendly and provide a good service too.||Rooms are basic but absolutely fine for sleeping in and the beds were surprisingly comfortable, slept really well all week! ||The main pool was lovely! Could be a few more sun-beds around the pool and some music on but the atmosphere was good regardless. ||We loved our stay here and would 100% come back! We stayed at the sister hotel the year before (Dynastic) and it’s a million times better than there I have to say! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Rooms and hotel are clean and food isn't bad for an all inclusive. You can hear people in the next rooms talking and I don't even mean talking loudly. No drink facilities in the rooms it's the first ever hotel we've been to that doesn't have them. Also on the day we left it was 7am no drink facilities provided we had to go to the local shop for water. Evening entertainment is terrible/ non existent the games feel like they have been made up on the spot. We will not be returning

Had a lovely stay here. Loved the two different pools which offered different atmosphere.|Food was good. Always a choice. Hot food and lovely salads. Exceptionally clean.|Staff very friendly and helpful.|I'd recommend asking for pool facing room as we had the sun on balcony till evening.|Could do with background music around the smaller pool.|I don't like the all inclusive ending at 12pm when you are leaving.|Rooms spotless cleaned every day.|Location fab close but not too close.|Would I come back? Yes .

Hotel very clean, and staff really friendly . Staff helpful with everything couldn't so enough. The thing I c.an comkaib about is obe of the pools was on a lower level and there was a narrow pathway going down with steps. A hand rail would make tremendous difference as awkward for people with mobility issues and the elderly. Also all the entertainment was on this level too in the evenings

This hotel could be lovely, but the room walls are so thin you can hear everything in the surrounding rooms and people coming in from the night out. The food is just warm and it's chips nearly every night, everything is overcooked so meat can be quite tough. The staff are lovely and very helpful, if your looking for entertainment forget it as we've been here 10 nights and all we've had is quiz night every night so we've not stayed in. It's a good location for shops, not too far from the beach or restaurants. It's cleaned daily and rooms are too. We would come back to Benidorm just not this hotel as it needs a little updating with entertainment and sound proofing the rooms.

The hotel is lovely and clean, the staff are so friendly and the food is nice. However, it's very noisy with people coming in at all hours shouting and being generally loud. You can not! use the sister hotel Dynastic with the all inclusive package. You only have a one hour free session in the spa and they want 40 euros for a 20 minute massage. They stop your all inclusive when you check out, so if you have a later flight you'll have to go out for food and drinks or pay at the hotel. The entertainment is lacking, no aqua fit, I did see a woman walking round for shooting but we were going for dinner, so didn't take part. We took part in the bingo one night and there was a parrot show but I think they could do better.

First time in Benidorm and solo holiday. Disappointed not being able to walk very well. Steps down to bar area at night. Food not very good just about warm. Staff were friendly and rooms clean . Entertainment didn’t exist quiz night every night. Quite a steep hill to get to. Although that’s not the hotels fault. No drinks facilities in room l did go all inclusive.

We have just arrived back from this hotel. Ok, Its a budget hotel, so grandeur is not expected.|Rooms.... cleaned everyday, beds made (not changed) bins emptied and towels changed.|Food.... well, it was mainly cold but choice was ok. The breakfast we skipped after the first day as it didn't taste or look great. |Entertainment... what entertainment! A screen showing the animacion team again and again, is not my idea of entertainment. This needs serious work! The stage was only lit by this screen so when anyone was on it, you couldn't see them.|Staff.... Miguel on reception was very helpful, he must have gotten fed up with me asking questions.... Mary at the bar, excellent, always smiling and chatty and knew her patrons drinks.... Landro (I think) also very happy and singing... there was an older chap, but he didn't wear a badge so I have no idea of his name, but he was a delight to...very friendly!|Outside Area.... always clean, but the pools shut at 7pm which I feel this is too early. It's still hot then and people want to use them. Needs some sort of piped music playing as its very bland out there....|Bars... 2 bars but they shut the upper bar early. Lower bar has awkward access if you are not mobile enough|Access.... If you have mobility problems, the hotel is on an incline which you have to access by foot, dropped off at the bottom of the road if you have transfers. Even taxis have trouble stopping.|As I said, access to the lower bar is down darkish stone steps. There is a door from the lower restaurant, but they do not let you use them ( I know, I got told off!!)|I can honestly say that if I came back to Benidorm, I would not use this hotel again...
