Hotel Galera

Basic but clean. No restaurant or bar. Breakfast is nice served by a lovely friendly lady. Staff were very helpfull. Rooms were small but no tea or coffee making facilities. Pool area clean but very loud music belting out all day. No toiletries as advertised. You get what you pay for but .....never again.

Been to ibiza lots of times and the hotels are hit or miss. This one was spot on. It was quiet enough to get some rest when needed but so close to the west end, a 5 minute walk max. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool area is across a small road but is quite private and has a cool feel about it. The hotel is good value for money and we'd definitely come back.

We stayed in this hotel for a short break at the start of June 2023. Hotel is very central for everything in San Antonio Bay and the sunset strip, all within walking distance. On arrival the lady on reception was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. She’d even arranged a little surprise for us in our room on arrival for our anniversary. Room was clean, basic but we had everything that we needed and the maids cleaned it every day whilst we were there. I asked for an extra pillow as I have a back problem and it was there within the hour, we forgot to bring our plug socket converter so the receptionist loaned us one, nothing was a problem and we were very happy…..until the last day! ||The evening before we were due to return home we asked reception if we could leave our luggage and also have a shower later on the next day as we had an evening flight, the lady kindly told us yes we have a shower room located at the pool, which we could use to freshen up before our flight home. We went to the beach on our last day and returned to the hotel around 3:30pm to get changed etc. A young man on reception greeted us or should I say not so… he was lazy, unhelpfull, and contradicted EVERYTHING that we were told the evening before, apparently the shower was AT THE POOL and there was no room to change in, we could not use any of their towels - they had none apparently!||He then stated to me that this is ‘a free service’ - truth of the matter was it was not a service at all - what we got was a cold shower (we had to wear our swimming costumes) in full view of the other hotel guests at the pool then we had to go into a TOILET next to the pool to dry off and get changed for our flight! ||First time we have EVER encountered this in Ibiza and we have been visiting the island for over 20 plus years! Young man on reception just did not care, shrugging shoulders, and very unwilling to help! I can see why others are commenting that SOME of the reception staff are difficult with no manners at all! You work in customer service my friend, I strongly suggest you learn how to deal with the public and paying customers! ||This hotel would have got a 5 star rating from us had it not been for what happened on our final day. Had there been a private room for us to use for 20-30 minutes with a shower we would have been more than happy and so would many other guests we are sure.

Stayed here for 4 nights with 6 friends. Basic no frills, but clean and great location, walking distance to the beach, bars, restaurants and clubs!! The pool is over the road, small, but it has a bar and it’s ok if you don’t fancy the beach. We had a fridge in our twin room which was handy. The staff were friendly. Aircon hardly worked but better than nothing! Probably wouldn’t want to do more than 4 nights here but perfect for what we needed it for and we’d stay again.

Cheap and cheerful hotel. Basic but has everything you need. Room was clean has fridge, tv, safe, aircon & balcony.||Pool was nice enough not massive but clean and a pool bar with pop table and music playing. Location was great just a stones throw from west end area. Would definitely stay again.

All staff are very friendly, great location, small pool available. ||The room small and simple with aircon but lacked basic amenities, such as a kettle and cups. It had a mini fridge but barely worked, no freezer, and ice only available when the bar is opened witch is roughly 8-1 or sometimes up until 5pm if the bat by the Pool was opened (which is not very often). In such a heat it would be nice if the mini fridge was also a freezer or if the ice would be available to guests at all times.

This hotel is no frills but it does the job & the cost reflects this. |It’s a great location, pool is nice, quiet just out of the hussle & bussle but close enough to walk into. |Rooms are basic but have everything you need, small fridge, aircon & clean.||3 nights here was plenty however for somebody who doesn’t spend hardly any time in the room, it’s fine.

I had a very nice experience with the staff in this hotel. Unfortunately I only stayed one night in this hotel due to outside events and the people at the front desk were super accommodating, helpful and above nice. ||The hotel was pretty simple, it does the job if you only want to sleep there. One of the major inconvenience was the old cigarette smell in the room, otherwise everything was okay.||Be aware of the surroundings of the hotel that could be a little sketchy!
