HOTEL GALINI Ξενοδοχείο

We loved loved this quaint hotel. We had adjoining rooms so our kids slept in the room with 3 beds ages 17/20/22 and then me and my partner slept in the other room. We had 2 bathrooms which was convenient and a beautiful patio overlooking the parking lot and ocean. Also the air conditioner worked great! This is important as some say they have it but it doesn’t work well! We could watch the sunset on a little hill if we wanted although we watched it in many places. There is a great beach just down the street with amazing food and chairs. We had Marius and he was so pleasant. |We loved the breakfast in the morning that was an extra bonus and the owners go over the whole island with you and help you navigate what you want to do. Galini is a great, small family owned hotel near St George beach on Naxos. My room was very clean, had a nice small balcony with view over a little chapel and the sea. The family welcomes you with a lot of information about the area, restaurants… They are very proud about local products and serve a fantastic breakfast buffet. There was a relaxing, vacation vibe and I had a great time. Location is very close to the beach, the ferry ( walkable) and Naxos town centre.

Is it the outstanding rooms? Perhaps the perfect location? The exceptional breakfast or the fact this family-operated hotel is truly genuine and still pursue a smile on your face. They are happy to assist with advice and guidance to explore the island. I have come here for years with my wife and 2 kids, occasionally with my parents as well and they keep improving the hotel with for example new windows, small tweaks to an already exceptional breakfast or even upgrading their rooms. It's not often that I happily recommend a place but if you're in Naxos and you're looking for value for you money... Contact George. You'll be in great hands 👌

This hotel is in walking distance to the port and the town center which makes it ideal to stay without a car or atv. There's also a very nice beach near the hotel. Rooms were very clean, well decorated and comfortable. It feels like a family business, owners were very hospitable, we chatted a lot about Turkish & Greek cousine and everything. And I must add, they may be serving one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had. It's that good! Definitely recommended.

This hotel reminds you what hospitality really means. Their staff and ownership go out of their way to make sure your stay at the hotel and time on the island are as good as can be. Their breakfast is the perfect example of this. Everything is made fresh daily and authentic. The location is awesome too; one block from the beach and not too far from the port. The rooms themselves are very clean and feel like a 4 star hotel in the states. 10/10 would recommend staying there.

We were warmly welcomed by the family running this hotel, clearly a proud labor of love. Hotel is pristine, in an excellent location -turn one way, you’re at the beach, turn the other way and there is a stunning short promenade into the town and many restaurants and shops. They helped us rent a car within minutes of our arrival- the car was delivered to us at the hotel, easy to park at the door, and picked up from us as we flew out from the Naxos airport. Perfect, easy and convenient! The bed and room very comfortable, attractive bathroom with a lovely rain head shower. There were even little clothes lines on the balcony - that had a stunning view! |I can’t say enough good things about the many homemade and delicious items at the ample breakfast buffet! All the many jams are homemade with local Naxos products and most of the baked items are homemade too. |The bed and the food are important, but frankly, it was the people I really liked the best. They, and the Hotel Galini, made me want to return to Naxos! We loved it there! I would recommend it to my friends and family!

We had a really great stay at Hotel Galini. The room was lovely with a good shower/balcony/coffee facilities etc. There was a wide selection at the continental breakfast. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The only slight negative is parking- we hired a car and parking near the hotel at certain times of the day (especially in the evening) was a nightmare- we had to drive around for 20 minutes one night to find a space. Notwithstanding the parking would still highly recommend.
