Hotel Ganesh Himal

. The location is very convenient, on a quiet side street but close to Thamel. There's a beautiful courtyard and a good breakfast. The room was very clean (!) with comfortable beds, hot water, and we even had a hot bath. On the downside, the bathroom faucet was broken, but still functional. The air conditioner wasn't very effective at heating, and the room was a bit cold, but we stayed in January. The staff is very nice!

Hotel Ganesh Himal is the best KTM's hotel for quality-price. |It is located in a perfect position in thamel, near all the shops but far from noise. The road isn't dangerous, even at night. |The staff is very kind and helpful. |The rooms are cozy, but in my opinion not very clean (stained sheets, some insects even if there are fly screens...) but the floor was clean. |The garden is very special, like the balconies. |The breakfast is the tipical Kathmandu's breakfast, simple but good. |I recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel! We had intention to stay here only few nights and ended up staying 3 weeks. Usually we like to change hotels during our stay whenever we travel, but this hotel made us feel like home for the whole time and we didn’t want to relocate. Cozy, neat, good service. Friendly and professional staff. Great view from the rooftop as a bonus. We even saw Himalayan mountains one day. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a peaceful stay near Thamel area 🌿 Thank you to the whole team!👏🏼

The rooms are very clean, the staff is incredibly sweet, and the location is ideal! We appreciated a quiet space to return to after the traffic of Thamel, and enjoyed breakfast in the beautiful courtyard chowk, and afternoon rest on the upstairs patios. Staff were very patient to help us arrange transportation and local guides for a few days around the city. Thank you all so much!

A wonderful, calm and beautiful oasis just on the edge of bustling Thamel. The staff are so welcoming, helpful, warm and lovely human beings. My third stay in the last decade and if I am blessed to visit Kathmandu once again then it is Hotel Ganesh Himal that I will head to once again. ❤️

Wonderful place. So lovely to sit in their garden and relax with a good dinner after a busy day around in Kathmandu. Loved it was a bit away from the hectic streets of Thamel. Very friendly and helpful staff. |Sleept so well.

Extremely courteous and helpful staff. Prompt to all your needs. Rooms are confortable and food super delicious. Location is ideal and central 5 mins from durbar square and 5 mins from thamel making it a quiet oasis from the business. Highly recommend this place!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Ganesh Himal. The place is very friendly, peaceful, and clean. The staff were always kind and helpful, making me feel at home. The food was delicious and fresh, and the beautiful garden gave me a calm escape from the busy streets of Kathmandu. Everything was perfect from the rooms to the service.
