Great check in on reception and everything needed explained well. Rooms basic but spotlessly clean and cleaned daily, Food ok but could have been hotter. Always found something to eat on half board looked after well in the dining area also. Bar snacks not very good but didn’t use much. Very central and the free use of the aquasplash at a sister hiotel was great for our 12 year old grandson to use each day ,all day on our 4 day holiday. Old sun beds could do with updating as they had no reclining adjustment but only used them for one day. All staff very good. All in all had a great holiday and for the money we paid we were happy.

Never been to a hotel like this before … food dreadful, served your drinks around the pool in same glass all day. Rooms very very basic. no access to pools for anyone with mobility issues, no toilets pool side you had to walk through marble floors passed bar area then down 2 flights of stairs which was very dangerous as not everyone was drying off before going to toilets. Staff were lovely. But this hotel at the most is 2 star never again

Was a lovely hotel, staff were friendly, nice food but a nightmare as everyone kept queuing at one side of the buffet. I shared with my sister and nephew and it wasn’t a family room. It was too small to fit the pram through the door so we had to move the bed up and the bedside table out of the way, the bathroom layout was very weird.||We didn’t realise how many hotels there are that are called hotel Garbi which caused confusion when finding our hotel at first.||The toilet was on top of the bath tub so you had hardly any room to get in and out of the bath, the lifts were very small to fit the pram in, we had to keep waiting for one of them that just about fitted the pram in - bearing in mid the hotel is massive and only has three lifts! ||There was hardly any kids entertainment and when there was the odd one, it was outside at the pool. The indoor pool was lovely, the water park was so nice, just a shame it was a ten minute walk away. We were also on top of the town and beach but didn’t realise it was clubbing central.||Overall, the experience was a nice one but would like a bigger room next time.

On the positive side, Hotel Garbi was acceptably clean, the staff were friendly on arrival, it is located less than a five minute walk to the beach (also less than a five minute walk to the bus station), the nearest restaurants, bars and shops are just a couple of minutes' walk away, the pool is ok (although the photo on the site makes it look far bigger than it is in reality), and if holidaying on a tight budget is what you're after - then this is a budget hotel. However, it is tired and dated (which doesn't make for a relaxed stay), the bedroom walls are 'paper thin' (noise is real issue at this hotel), the offical pictures of the fresh and bright bedrooms look little like the slightly sad room I was allocated, the rooms at the rear (where I was placed) back on to a road that is noisy into the early hours (I was woken up every night), the all-inclusive breakfast wasn't very good in my opinion (think instant coffee from machines, juices that taste nothing like proper juices, pastries that are dry, hard fruit, etc - and by day three I couldn't face another), and the faciliites are generally basic. Tip: When thinking about booking this hotel, don't get confused by reading far more favourable reviews of the much nicer sister hotel next door named Hotel Garbi Park.

Firstly this is not a 4 star hotel, the facilities & food need big improvements.|I think it is ok for couples, most of the guests are young mainly 18-25.|Not many families but I did go in September. |The pool area was in need of a revamp, it just looks very dated. There are 2 pools, a heated indoor pool & an outdoor pool.|There is a games room which needs some more things in it. There is a pool table, ice hockey and a football table. It’s such a big space it should have more. There is a club/bar but this area is shut. |The hotel lobby is nice, it has a few seating areas which are clean and tidy. There is a bar outside the hotel restaurant which sells beers, wine, cocktails coffees etc. |One of the hotels best attributes are the reception staff, they are so kind and helpful. |Now the food…|It is strange, some very questionable choices. Especially the dinner, I think it’s more catered for Germans which are a large proportion of the hotels occupancy. There isn’t many options for young children at all. |There is some hot plates where they do live cooking and the ‘chef’ if you can call him that just sprays everything with oily water which makes everything taste the same. Some things do look inedible. There was a strange poached fish which looked terrible, that was there everyday we were there. |The breakfast is great, large selection of pastries, meats & cheeses. Fruit & yoghurts. There is hot options like hard boiled eggs, beans, Frankfurt sausages. | We were half board and it did get a bit repetitive in the end. I wouldn’t recommend going all inclusive as the food isn’t good enough. |The rooms are very, very basic but they are clean. The bedroom has a wardrobe, safe, desk and bedside tables. There is a tv with Spanish channels. The beds were singles, 2 pushed together to make a double & one on its own. The decor is plain and could do with some improvements. The rooms have air con but there is no kettle or mini fridge. |The bathroom is again clean and basic but has everything you need. Small bath with shower, bidet, toilet and basin. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom. They provide towels also. |The hotel is very big and is in a great location. The entertainment wasn’t very good, however it’s not peak season so this could be why? You are allowed to go to the other Garbi hotels and use their pools & entertainment but we didn’t do that so can’t say if it was any better.|There is a water park which is free for garbi park guests to use but this has now closed as it’s end of season but it is open until the 2nd week of September. The hotel is Centrally located for many shops, bars & restaurants. The beach is a 5 minute walk. |Overall if you are looking for a central located hotel to use as a base then this hotel is fine.

Went with my Mrs and almost 2 year old child, we were unaware of the links with a German University so was mostly young people but they were no trouble at all and very welcoming, the hotel is in a great location, plenty of bars, restaurants and beach is around a 10min walk. The room was fine and the breakfast and evening buffets had plenty of options. The staff were helpful but I have to give a special mention to one of the barmen Brian, absolutely spot on, such a nice man and his service was great, made us feel so welcome and would definitely come back, massive credit to him, hope he gets to see this 👍

2 couples visited in May 2025 on an all inclusive basis. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all lovely with a variety of foods to choose from. However the snacks around the pool were rubbish. Pool area was lovely and never fought for beds. All snacks were pre packed and put onto a microwave to heat up, hot dogs, burgers and not very nice so didn't eat the snacks. The all inclusive drinks were good. However, if you went to the downstairs bar you had to pay for your drinks. As we were all inclusive the drinks were half price. The entertainment wasn't much. More accommodating entertainment for the Spanish and not for the English. Couldnt fault any of the staff who were all very friendly. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfy. The hotel is close to all the bars and away from the noise.

Booked 4 nights here knowing it was a 3 star and not to expect too much. The hotel was terrible, as others have stated this is a hostel not a hotel. They cater to the German teens and them alone. ||The room is tiny, not a family room atall, 3 small single beds that you had to carefully manoeuvre around just to make it to the other side of the room. The bed was made daily (sheet pulled over) and bin emptied however no cleaning was actually done. We were out in the days, most of the time but when we did spend an hour around the pool it was very quiet because the teens had been partying all night so were tired. They come alive in the evening!! Music blasting from their rooms will start around 10pm finish at 11-12 when they go out and then start again 3-5am! The walls are so thin you can hear everything!! ||The location is great, everything you need is walking distance. You can use the waterpark facilities at Gran Garbi Mar which is a 5 minute walk away up the steepest hill Iv come across. Okay for us we are relatively healthy but if you struggle be prepared. Waterpark itself amused the kids for a morning or 2.||You go next door (Garbi Park) for any food, we only went Bed&Breakfast and thank god we did as breakfast was bad enough. Last nights chips & veg medley always made an appearance although with stale pastries. There was a small selection of cheese slices and meat. Hot section was scrambled egg and hot dogs.||Also please note you have to unlock the door and lock it once inside with a key. I found this to be a huge health and safety breach. If there was an emergency then it would make leaving the room harder. Jet made me feel uneasy. ||Overall would never stay again, not even if it was free. My 15 yr old son said ‘he’d love to come back wen he’s 18, but in a nice hotel’ which says it all.
