Hotel Garni Eden

The location of this hotel is pretty good, convenience of transportation .And there is the beautiful lake in this region. Very good for travel and business trip. The hotel looks simple, but there are little surprises everywhere. The boss is very attentive. After we left the hotel, we had samples that needed to be sent from the hotel to China and to Mexico, and the boss enthusiastically helped us handle it. Even if there was a lot of trouble, he helped us deal with it until everything was OK.

A family of 4, we stayed 6 nights in 2 rooms & were well looked after by the affable Alberto & his wife. Nice hotel is in a quiet area, clean rooms, excellent breakfast and we received good advice where to cycle, where good to eat and good wineries to visit too. We were even given space in their garage to keep our bicycles secure. Recommended.

The hotel is not cheap, but it still corresponds to the region. The rooms are fine and the breakfast is rich. The staff friendly and customer oriented. Only the WiFi - the internet connection could be faster - could be better. In just a few minutes you can reach the old town of Meersburg, the harbour and the bus stop. The outdoor pool, the thermal baths and everything else are also easily accessible on foot.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and with a balcony and a lake view. You have all of the amenities you would expect in a hotel room including a well stocked fridge. There is no air conditioning but with the balcony door and windows that open up they let enough cool air into the room, there are also shutters that you can role down and an extending sun canopy on the balcony. all in all this makes the room very comfortable.||||Alberto and Zora (who own the hotel) are exceptional hosts and go out of their way to make sure that you have everything for a relaxing holiday. They have lots of knowledge about the lake and the best way to get to all the different towns (and also the cheapest way).||||Their breakfast is amazing with a range of cereals, breads, spreads, cheeses and cold meats. There are also boiled eggs, fruit juices and various fruits. This really sets up up for a day exploring the lake. ||||The hotel is situated at the top part of the town about 7 mins walk from the lake front where the restaurants and wine bars are situated. This means the hotel is in a quiet area so you get a good nights sleep. There is ample parking at the hotel and a garage to store your bicycles. It is also 7 mins walk from the swimming pool and 5 mins walk form local shops if you want to buy food for picnics.||||This is by far the best hotel on the entire lake and Alberto and Zora work very hard to make sure your stay is perfect. Thank you Alberto and Zora for a lovely holiday and I will be definitely coming back.

A really nice hotel within walking distance of the center of Meersburg. Great hosts with lots of information for day trips and activities. Our room was very comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the lake and views over the city. Walking to the Castle was less than 5 minutes and the Therme was about the same. Beautiful breakfast and the whole property is spotlessly clean and neat. There is a small late night convenience store a few minutes away and also a bike rental store where we got reasonably priced (€30) electric bikes for the day and took the ferry to Konstantz to explore. Hotel Garni Eden is ideally located and we would stay again without hesitation on our next visit!

This is the third year that my wife and I have stayed at this hotel and it was the best yet. Alberto and Zora are amazing hosts and they make sure that they look after you. We drive from the UK with our bikes and its is so nice to drive up to the hotel after 12 hours driving and just relax... Alberto and Zora have extensive knowledge of the lake and the local area and restaurants and their recommendations are amazing. The breakfast that they serve is the best on the lake, from continental cold meats, eggs, rolls, a variety of cereals, and toppings and an amazing selection of cheese topped off with lots of coffee and tea. It certainly set you up for the day. The rooms are large and spacious and have been fitted out with amazing quality products. There is a tv, fridge, hairdryer all as standard and there are amazing views from the balcony. This hotel is the best on the lake and we will definatley be coming back for another two week holiday. Congratulations Alberto and Zora for working so hard to bring an amazing hotel to the lake.

After a very bad experience for one night in Hotel Romantik Residenz am See - Meersburg, we had to find a new hotel on the spot for the remaining 10 days of our holiday. With the help of the tourist office, we found Hotel Garni Eden. From the first moment we felt welcome. The hotel is spotless clean and very modern, after a big renovation over the last 2 years. It lies very central in Meersburg and the owners, Alberto and his wife Zora, will do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. ||Our holiday was saved by Alberto and Zora as they adjusted the hotel schedule in order to offers us accommodation; once again thank you for your effort.||This hotel and its owner's offer it’s guest all you could wish for.||

I use Trip Advisor often and love reading the reviews to obtain good advice and information when we plan our travel destinations. However, up to this point I have never actually written any reviews. My wife and I agreed that Alberto and the Hotel Eden deserves our very first review. Our opinion is long overdue though since we stayed in the first half of 2016. Now that we are enrolled it will be easier to participate in this process.||We originally booked a two night stay on our drive to Alsace, France. Due to Alberto's advice we discovered the beauty of the area and the many charming towns around the Bodensee. There was so much to see and do that we extended our stay for two additional nights. The room and bathroom were both clean and modern and the breakfast was great. Alberto made us cappuccinos each morning and helped us plan our daily itinerary. He has a great personality and sense of humor which really made us feel at home.||We had picked up our new BMW in Munich earlier that day and we were looking for a hotel with secure parking. Hotel Eden had free parking and my new car was very safe. Alberto suggested an alternative route to Alsace through the Black Forest and we were so happy that we experienced this beautiful drive.||My wife and I will definitely stay at Hotel Eden again when we next visit southern Germany.
