Hotel Garni Golf

Stayed at one of the hotel apartments for one week. Can’t even describe how lovely and kind the hosts were. Rita & Guiseppe care every minute about their guests and they treat everyone as part of a family. Always smiling, always positive and happy. Tbh, one of my best hotel experiences ever. Summer 2023 we stayed for 2 weeks at the Garni Golf Hotel in Ascona, just steps away from the Lake Maggiore promenade. The Garni Golf Hosts Rita and “Joe” could not have been more welcoming, helpful and charming. My husband and I looked forward every morning to the generous breakfast cafe—cereals, cheeses, cold cuts, veggies, fresh fruit, and oh so delicious Swiss |bread! On top of that Joe remembered every morning which one of us loved Espresso and which Cappuccino! The housekeeping staff was also excellent. The best part was that the rooms were air-conditioned—the summer was hotter than ever!|We stayed in 3 different rooms at our request. All were comfortable but the one with the small terrace and view of lake and surrounding hills was a dream!

Charming bed & breakfast just a few steps away from Ascona's gorgeous shoreline! Super-friendly welcome and treat by the owners (and their cute little dog :-), convenient breakfast including great cappuccino and hot chocolate & also the first time ever we've received a goodbye gift after checking out! 🏨 ☕️ 🥣 🍓 🥖 Thumbs up & thanks for hosting us Rita & Giuseppe! 👍 🙏

It’s a gem! The owners are extremely friendly, warm and helpful. Spacious and sparkling clean room. And the location is fantastic, almost right in front of the waterfront, and everywhere is within walking distance. We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful stay at Garni Hotel, highly recommend! The hotel is clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, everything you need to relax and enjoy the stay. The proximity to the lake, restaurants is impressive, literally a few steps away and you can go for long walks or sit by the lake and enjoy the view, or take the boat to Brissago! Very warm and friendly hotel owners, made us feel like home. Thank you very much!

If you rated this hotel on room quality, you would go to 3 stars. If you rated in on service you would go to 5 stars. Stepanie and Christoph provide a very warm and friendly service. Our luggage was upstairs and in our room before we'd signed register. Very good information about district and services is provided. The rooms are unremarkable and have no views, but are perfectly adequate. Ask for additional pillows unless you like super soft. Breakfast is good and there is a dinky little terrace to sit outside. Two mins walk from ferry terminal and 4 mins walk to free bus to Locarno. Virtually right on lake front with nice, but overpriced cafes. Gelato shop at front door. Although you might say this hotel is rather plain, it is run by lovely friendly people and is convenient to everything, It is a nice experience.

A wonderful hotel! The owners go the extra mile to help with anything that you need. It's in an amazing location and the rooms are clean and well equipped. The service from everyone has been excellent, and I've thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts. I highly recommend this hotel if you're coming to the beautiful town of Ascona.
