this is not a proper hotel as it looks like in view of the name of the property that appears in their webpage or in tripadvisor, but a bed & breakfast. i do not understand its high rating in tripadvisor||||the location is good, just at the limit of the traffic restricted zone. the property offers carpark in front of the building for 16 euros. in the night, the place is unattended so i cannot say that it is a safe parking space||||the reception closes at 7 pm. the receptionist was not friendly, her attitude was like that from a civil servant finishing the working hours and showed no interest in helping the guest||||no lift and no help with the luggage||||the room was a "de luxe" one, clean and with acceptable size, with a pleasant balcony overlooking the river. nice view. ||||the bed was sufficiently comfortable. there was a small wardorbe with a safety box, an empty fridge and a kettle with two tea sackets (no instant coffee)||||the bathroom had sufficient size, basic amenities and a big bath. unfortunately, there was no hang for the shower had, meaning that the guests need to hang the shower head when having a shower. additionally, therewas no curtain in the shower, so the risk of flooding the bathroom is high||||the windows had net cutains, so the room had too much light as from sunrise||||free wifi did not work||||no air contioned: rooms can be very hot in summer||||a very basic continental breakfast was offered at another hotel in the viccinity||||whereas the room could be paid with credit card, extras like parking are requested to be paid in cash. just nonsense in an accommodation where most of guests are foreigners||||due to bad shower, bat attitude from the receptionist, lack of reception service after 7 pm (not even a telephone number for emergencies was advised) i think that the price paid (120 euros) is bad value for money||||i do not recommend this accommodation

3.5 stars Decent accommodation, we had the room with the balcony, is very serene and feels you are in the middle of nature, it's like staying in the lodge. The stay includes breakfast which is next building, nice and decent breakfast. Good value for money. Cons: the radiators not all working and the last day of our stay, around 5 am, the hot water is not on, I guess they are trying to save electricity. Also it has no lift, but I guess most of the accommodations here does not have lift.

This hotel is in a perfect location, allowing us to walk a short distance to everywhere we wanted to go. The people at the front desk were very helpful. Jaroslav Drska was especially engaging and gave us great information that made our visit even better. The room we had has a small balcony offering an excellent view of the river. Breakfast was quite good--we enjoyed it every morning we were there.

Simple, understated and just lovely! We drove from Prague to Cesky Krumlov for a five night stay and had a warm welcome from Jaraslov on Reception. He greeted us by name when we arrived and gave us a gold card for entry into the museums in the town - we used all but one because the Regional Museum was closed for renovation. Everything about our stay was lovely - if we needed anything, we just asked, otherwise we were left to our own devices. Cleaning was done every day and unobtrusively - fresh towels appeared and the breakfast was great - eggs, bacon and toast plus a full continental buffet with cheese, bread, meats, pastries etc. ||||It was relaxed, easy-going but very warm and friendly. The service was impeccable and unobtrusive. If I had one tiny complaint to make it was that the fridge in our room was pretty ineffective - it didn't really make things cold. But this seems a little churlish when everything else was so nice. ||||The room was a really good size with three big windows that opened out onto the square so we could see all the comings and goings of visitors. Loved it, loved our stay there - and Jaraslov was friendly and helpful. He even helped me with my Czech pronunciation!

When we booked some months before, they didn't have a room left in this building so offered us one in Margarita Pension, 50 metres down the road. The room was very basic, very hard pine beds, flimsy curtains that didn't cover the windows. Shower was good. Continental breakfast delivered on a tray to your room at the time you request. No lift. On the morning of our departure we ate breakfast in the cute little basement area at the main hotel. Reception staff friendly. Nico ordered us a taxi to take us to the railway station and the hotel paid for it, which was appreciated as we had a night mare getting there. Word of warning, if arriving by train, get a taxi to this hotel, do not catch the bus if you have big luggage. The bus stops quite close to the town but all the streets are ancient cobblestones, no footpaths in parts and the hotel is over the bridge,up hills and quite a distance. If you are a young back packer, no problem, but for us oldies with large cases on wheels, it was a mission.Nearly wrecked our bag's wheels and us!

The attitude of the service staff is extremely bad. I even suspect that the service staff has serious racial discrimination. They are not polite at all and use a commanding tone. This is the hotel with the worst impression of the Czech Republic and it is not recommended

We loved this hotel. It was handy to everything (town, bus station, etc.). Our room was quiet, clean, and spacious. We were only in Český Krumlov for one day, but we will stay at the Mysi Dira again if we make it back.
