Hotel Gasperin Bohinj

Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Gasperin. It's easy to arrive at the hotel by bus from Bled. There's also parking for cars.||The hotel is in great condition, seems almost new. Everything is well built and clean. Our room was an economy double, but still quite large. Excellent wifi throughout,||Staff are very friendly and knowledgable. English is one of the native languages. Breakfast was amazing.||The hotel is a short walk to the lake, shops, restaurants, etc.

We had a wonderful 4-day, 3-night stay. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The mattresses were extremely comfortable. The accommodation itself is very quiet, although sometimes noise from other guests could be heard – but of course, this is not the host’s fault. Breakfast was plentiful with a great variety to choose from. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful. We can warmly recommend this place to everyone!

Great location, short walk from the lake and gorge walks and with shop restaurants and bars very close by. Good comfortable clean room - with fabulous views. Excellent breakfast. Very good helpful service. Car parking very useful. Only suggestion (and this maybe because I’m English, cos I noticed it was true for all of our hotels in our Slovenia trip) was to provide a kettle and cups in the room.

Such a lovely family-run hotel! Everything was spotless and the location couldn’t be better, just a short walk to Lake Bohinj. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and they speak perfect English. Breakfast was varied and clearly prepared with love. There’s plenty of parking, and honestly everything was just perfect. I would definitely stay here again!

Rooms are not new/modern, but totally fine and clean. However walls are relatively thin and you will be able to follow conversations in the room next to you. The hosts are great and did know our names from the first minute onwards - always available and helpful when needed. Highly appreciated! Location is in walking distance from the lake, with the parking directly in front of the hotel.

Nice quiet location convenient walk to the lake, restaurants, hikes, etc. Excellent breakfast, and great service. Our room was very clean, bed was comfortable. We were in the back and our room was quite small. Shower was very small, but the mountain view rooms are bigger, as we discovered. Screens on the windows would be nice. It was warm, so we had the window ajar our whole stay and had a very large grasshopper enter during the night. Harmless, but a bit disconserting when I felt it on my head/hair. Easy parking. There is some noise from other guests, but no road noise after about 10pm.

We have just spent three nights at this lovely family run hotel. We were made to feel very much at home and very welcome. Our room was large, clean and well appointed. Breakfast had a great selection of foods for every need and the freshly made eggs to order were delicious. All of this was amazing, but I also have to note that the hotel is perfectly positioned so that we could park up the car and walk or use public transport to fill three wonderful days in and around Bohinj; one of the most beautiful places I have visited.

clean, quiet, comfortable hotel. easy reach to beautiful lake Bohinj. excellent breakfast ( which was appreciated, given there was not great choice for vegetarians in local restaurants). only reason ive not given 5 stars is the owner seemed exasperated with us at times! our fault for being late with checking out, but felt he was a bit harsh hammering on the door and shouting at us! |but still a great place to stay.
