Hotel Gasperin Bohinj

Excellent family-run B+B hotel, located within 5 minutes easy walking distance of beautiful Lake Bohinj and various shops and restaurants for dinner (I particularly liked the Pri Lovcu restaurant which is 5 minutes walking in the opposite direction from the lake). My room on the top floor was spacious, quiet and comfortable, with a large balcony and nice view of the mountains. The road outside has a steady stream of traffic during the day, but none at night; any traffic noise during the day can be shut out by closing the windows and turning on the air conditioning (if required). Soundproofing in the building is very effective.||The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful and include eggs, omelettes etc. cooked to order. So I would definitely recommend this hotel and the area in general!

Lovely hotel with stunning views (I paid for a Mountain View room), friendly staff and a wide variety of breakfast offerings. Bedroom was large, with bedside drawers, wardrobe, a fridge, table & bathroom. Location is a 5-7 minute walk from bohinj lake, so you’re also close to everything! 10/10 would stay again.

Perfect place and place to be for our stay in the Lake Bohinj area. We knew we were going to be spending every day hiking in the greater area, not spending a ton of time in the hotel itself....so this place was perfect. Clean, simple, great breakfast every morning to load up for the energy we needed. And we loved the location...every evening we would stroll to the lake, stop in for dinner at a local place, and have a wonderful place to sleep. Peter and all the people working there was super nice & helpful...and they kept the place very clean (and pretty with all their flowers and plants). We had Room 33...while big for the 2 of us, we loved having the balcony and view of the mountains every morning when we woke up and to unwind in the evening.

A great place to stay in the quiet countryside. The accommodation itself is very tourist-friendly, you will see instructions everywhere, how to use things, etc, and in English! The receptionist is very friendly and accommodating, she told us immediately what things we can do in Bohinj, where to park, how far the places are from the accommodation, very informative. Their buffet breakfast is also great with a variety of options, even for people with dietary restrictions. The rooms are clean enough. There is a big parking lot in the property of the accommodation. The location is also near the lakes, Bled and Bohinj. There are restaurants around and a local market near the hotel.

I /we have been here so many times. Firstly as a couple sadly just me as my wife sadly died two years ago. We have a bench for her near the lake. We have been privileged to see both the hotel and more importantly the family. I think we are extremely fortunate good friends. I am in awe of what they have achieved and the bar keeps being pushed higher. They work so very hard to make your stay personal. I humbly thank them and so thankful our paths crossed many years ago.

Excellent small family run hotel that takes pride in the beautiful hotel grounds and infrastructure, and the services the hotel provides. Great breakfast each morning with fresh foods and eggs to order. Honour bar for snacks and drinks. Easy walking distance to the centre of Bohinj and the lake. Highly recommend this venue.

My daughter (age 23j and I stayed 4 nights in Hotel Gasperin. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Close to everything. We were welcomed when we arrived and received lots of recommendations for where to eat etc. Breakfast is available in the mornings and there were lots of options and everything was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was great, lots of hot water and water pressure. ||I would definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent 4-night stay at this hotel in July. The beautiful views alone are already worth the visit, but this quaint hotel made the experience even better.
