Very beautiful and quiet hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms and most importantly a very peaceful and quiet place to relax. The kitchen is absolutely fine and most importantly good beer :-) I recommend it.

Very nice and traditional family business with senior owner’s presence. Excellent location to hike, bike and tour middle and southern Black Forest area.

Stayed for two night. Beautiful hotel, very nice and spacious rooms. Welness is a nice touch. Plus: - rooms spacious, very luxurious - welness and swimming pool are very welcoming - location is very nice - check in staff very helpful Tips: - breakfast does not have much variability. A bitt small and limited in options Diner in restaurant was okay. The food tasted excellent and is really recommending. Service was not good. Reservation in advance, different time was written down. Upon arrive we were rushed to a table with the receipt and glasses from previous visitors. Very limited attention, 25 minutes waiting for a menu. Felt unwelcome, very unfortunate

Stayed for a long weekend, a really enjoyable stay.A very easy checkin and very comfortable rooms, the only very slight negative would be that the wifi and television did not like to connect to each other. We had a great meal in their restaurant and would highly recommend. The Bar which was in a separate building, was very cosy with a nice selection of drinks at reasonable prices. The included breakfast offered a great choice and would highly recommend. Would highly recommend a stay here and when we are back in the Black Forest area again will definitely be our first choice of hotel.

clean hotel, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Some important points to mention, the room is not the same as in the photos (we spent in the rose room), there is no minibar, no kettle for coffee or tea, the bathroom door cannot be closed, also the windows are not soundproof.

Our favorite hotel, of all the places we stayed in Europe. They have 2 buildings on either side of the street with a tunnel that connects them so you don't have to go outside. Small spa with sauna, steam room, and heated pool that you can use even in winter. Gorgeous lobby and rooms. They have a really nice dedicated lounge also for an evening drink, complete with fireplace. The view from our room was incredible - the snowy forest and mountains. We will be staying here again.

Stayed here for the last 2 nights of a 25 night euro road trip. The staff were all extremely friendly and very helpful, we don't speak any German but we managed just fine and a few of the staff spoke English. Stayed in the older part of the hotel but both rooms were really good and the beds whilst much softer than what I would normally prefer were extremely comfortable and had 2 great nights sleep. Had a good meal in the restaurant on the first night. The main reason I chose this hotel was for a day of relaxation at the end of a long trip - the pool and spa in the new building was perfect for this and a nice peaceful location.||Will definitely return as a perfect distance for a stopover to / from ports of Holland and Belgium. Plenty in the local area that we would like to return to see and do also.||Highly recommended.
