The location is, without question, exceptional—nestled amidst a charming array of fine dining establishments and local gems. Regrettably, the accommodation itself fell short of expectations. The sound insulation was virtually nonexistent; one could distinctly hear fellow guests conversing through the walls, meandering through the corridors, and even the bustle of the street below—our room being on the first floor did little to help.
The bathroom was uncomfortably compact, seemingly designed for individuals of diminutive stature, with a tepid shower and a poorly positioned sink that rendered basic use rather awkward. The beds, while soft, were similarly undersized and not suited to anyone over 1.60m in height.
The staff, though present, seemed reticent—perhaps hesitant to fully engage with guests. Whether this is a quirk of local custom or a peculiarity of this establishment, I cannot say, but the overall atmosphere was far from welcoming.
Would I return? In all honesty, I think not.
