I recently stayed at Hotel Gat Rossio during a quick overnight in Lisbon, and I was genuinely impressed with the experience. The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the city, just steps from Rossio Square, which made it incredibly easy to explore Lisbon even with limited time.
The staff were welcoming and efficient at check-in, which I really appreciated after a long travel day. My room, though compact, was modern, spotless, and well-designed—ideal for a short stay. The minimalist decor made the space feel open and calming, and the bed was very comfortable.
One of the highlights was the hotel’s location. I was able to walk to major landmarks, sample local pastries, and catch a beautiful sunset—all within a few hours. It’s the kind of place that turns even a short stop into a meaningful experience.
Though I didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast, the common areas had a relaxed vibe, and everything felt well maintained. For the price and convenience, Hotel Gat Rossio delivered great value.
If you're curious to see more of my experience, I actually filmed a few highlights from my stay and time in Lisbon—it's up now on my channel for anyone interested in a visual peek. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for travelers who want comfort and walkability in the city center.
