Hotel Geeraard

It is a small hotel located in the middle of the town with free parking.the restaurant is excellent with a very good menu about 35-40€ in a historical room with nice paintings. |Breakfast is good enough for a small hotel.The rooms are quite new and even the smallest are big enough for a couple, the bathrooms are completely new. |The price es very decent for the quality and services.|I don't give it 5 starts because it has not fitness room, nice to have when you travel on business and the pillows in the room should be better.|Internet is available and free.|The customer service is very friendly.|Definitely a good place to stay, I stay quite often at least a week every 2 months there.|

Clean large and welcoming rooms. The bed was very comfy as were the pillows and the linen. Ensuite is huge and extremely well equipped (hairdryer yay!!) Staff warm, cheerful and very helpful. Breakfast buffet had so much choice and tasted so good. Eggs and bacon cooked to order as well! We slept so well with no noise disturbances that we thought that hotel might be empty...not so as breakfast lounge was almost full of other guests! We will visit again.

Went there with my wife to take part in a cycling tour: “De Ronde van Vlaanderen”. This hotel Geeraard is a small hotel (11 rooms) lying in the center of Geraardsbergen which is a nice little town in the East of Flanders. The staff of the hotel was exceptionally friendly and responsive; you don’t see that often anymore. The room was good with a luxury bathroom. The breakfast was also high standard. Special remarks must be made about the restaurant and the ambiance. The dinner we had was exceptional, a delicious entrée and the main course (“Dorade filet”) was outstanding. I always like it when the chef enters the restaurant to check if everything is OK which happened. This together with a friendly and professional waiter made my stay in this hotel a thing to remember.

Location of the hotel is quite central and an easy walk to get to all points of interest. Rooms are clean, modern and very well appointed and most importantly have high quality, comfortable beds.||||Breakfast was varied, good quality and plentiful. I stayed to ride the Ronde van Vlaanderen and watch the professional races the next day. Geraardsbergen is a perfect location to do so.

I stayed for 2 weeks as I was working in the area. Great hotel and welcoming staff, aven if you arrive after reception closing time. The rooms were modern and confortable. The breakfast was one of the best I ever had!

Great value for money, friendly staff, nice room, excellent bar system so you can have a drink anytime without needing the staff. Brilliant breakfast!||The brasserie Grupello was the only let down. Food not tasty (deep frozen soggy plaice) but service was fun. Just go there for a drink.

We stayed a weekend in Hotel Geeraard. Stuff helped us very friendly at arrival and explained everything such as parking lot ( no extra costs!), door during nighttime and the night bar. The breakfast was tremendous with really everything you want or need for breakfast. Seldom you find such a variety plus wonderful freshly cooked eggs. Perfect service!

I stayed here many times - great hotel very friendly staff and always a great breakfast selection and delicious food! Sylvia always makes us feel at home nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended!
