Hotel GHT Aquarium & SPA Superior

Stayed here with my husband at the end of September for our anniversary. After reading some of the reviews I was a bit wary but how wrong was I. Our stay was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was of a sufficient size and was always kept clean and tidy for us. As it was our anniversary the hotel even sent us a complimentary bottle of cava. |We stayed half board. There was plenty of choice in the evening. My only small complaint would be in the morning. The cooked breakfast was luke warm. We ended up re-heating in the microwave. |Drinks in the restaurant and from the bar were reasonable. We were there when Oktoberfest was on and the beer was on special offer. |We didn't have a pool view but didn't experience any noise from the street although it might be different in the height of summer. |We would go back although I think we managed to see everything we wanted to see and do in the week that we were there. |Overall a very enjoyable experience. |If you want to hire pool towels you pay a 10 euro deposit per towel and if you return your towels at the end of the week you will get this back.|Safe deposit was 25 euro for the week with a 10 euro deposit.|We took our own travel kettle as there isn't one in the room and I like a cuppa first thing in the morning.

The hotel is in a good location. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The beach is a few minutes walk away. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. The food was delicious and there was a good selection. The pool water was cold, in October I would like a heated pool. The pool floor was also a bit slippery. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. The only thing that bothered me was that other guests were smoking by the pool or on the balcony. We would have liked to visit the gym as well, but children were not allowed. We slept very well at night, the hotel was quiet and peaceful.

This hotel is a complete hidden gem . We visited as a last minute booking but didn’t want to leave. The staff are very friendly and helpful (something we have struggled to find on other holidays) rooms are cleaned daily and always stocked with required items such as toilet roll. Restaurant staff are very attentive and food is fresh and plentiful something for everyone The location is great with various bars shops and eating areas all within 2 minute walk. Beach is well presented and 5 minutes by foot. All in all the best hotel and holiday we have ever been on. We are now in process of booking for next year along with other family members

One was broken for five days, creating a bottleneck that turned getting to the fourth floor into a 15-minute patience test. If you enjoy elevator small talk with strangers, you’re in luck.||Rooms: Clean but Missing Essentials|The rooms are spotless and well-decorated, but oddly minimalist when it comes to basics. No glasses, no mugs, no kettle. If you were dreaming of a cozy tea moment, dream elsewhere.|Mattresses are... seasoned. If your spine has opinions, prepare for nightly debates. But the cleaning staff? Absolute stars—friendly, thorough, and the room always smelled fresh.||Pool & Spa: Warm Waters, Cold Surprises|The indoor heated pool and jacuzzi are a major plus—clean, inviting, and perfect for unwinding. That is, until the brush-wielding staff start cleaning mid-swim, flinging floor grime onto your sunbed and belongings like it’s performance art. Timing, folks. Timing.||Restaurant: Culinary Delight with a Side of Lipstick|The restaurant shines with fresh, tasty food and a wide selection. Staff are attentive and genuinely lovely. But over nine days, a few dishes came with bonus features: a lipstick-stained glass, two plates with leftovers, and a fork that had clearly seen better meals. One star deducted for hygiene hiccups.||Bar: Great Cocktails, Lukewarm Vibes|The drinks are solid, but the service? Lukewarm at best. You’ll be seen, acknowledged, and then... ignored. It’s like being a ghost with a wallet. Eventually, someone serves you, but not before you question your existence.||Final Verdict|GHT Aquarium & SPA is a solid budget hotel with standout food, a great location, and a lovely cleaning crew. But slow elevators, tired mattresses, and inconsistent service keep it from reaching its full potential. Come for the price, stay for the pool—just dodge the brush.

Steal of a deal. Me and wife came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. For the price we paid, absolutely no complaints at all. Friendly and hard working staff, nice room, decent food and a lovely clean swimming pool. Highly recommended.

Great experience, expectations met. A welcoming, clean hotel with friendly staff. The two pools, gym, and spa make the hotel experience even better. The entertainment staff also organize activities for children, and there's an evening show every day. The food is excellent and offers a wide variety of choices. There are, however, some things that could be improved: the cleanliness of the plates and glasses in the dining area, excessive air conditioning in the dining area with the risk of getting a cold, and the gym equipment, which is too old and often broken, in addition the smell of dampness and mold in the gym caused by the near spa area.

didn't get to see my room. However the experience was amazing due to the micheiln quality food. Location is far from Lloret however great location if the nags head is on your list for the trip!

definitely not a 4 star food always cold no matter what time you went in. dining room staff most of them miserable .sick of complaining and we don't usually. the hotel clean thats all i can say about it. entertainment fri&sat rest nothing . had to ask to put some music on. really boring. if you want a really quite holiday great . will never ever go back
