Hotel Globo Split

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Global in Split. The location is excellent — a short and pleasant walk on flat ground to the city center. Everything went perfectly, but we would especially like to thank Anara from the restaurant staff. She noticed we were speaking Russian, was incredibly kind and attentive, and truly made us feel welcome. On our last day, despite the rain, she even drove us to the airport, lent us her own raincoat, and showed us places along the way. Her warmth and personal care made our visit truly memorable. Highly recommended!

Thank you for a very comfortable stay. All your staff were very helpful and friendly. Also loved the decor of the room we stayed in and the hotel looked lovely. We really enjoy the breakfast which came with our package. Tasteful shops nearby and a coffeeshop next-door.

The price saved the day. For me, this didn’t quite feel like a four-star hotel. The style is rather average but generally clean. The food was plentiful and good, and the staff were fairly friendly. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi connection was terrible — it was practically unusable, which made it difficult to prepare for my work the next day.

Hotel Globo is situated about a 15-minute walk from the Old Town, close enough to be by the action, but far enough away so you get a good night’s sleep away from the noise. The drapes provide terrific room darkening.||Hotel Globo provides excellent hospitality. |I started with a small room on my first night and then moved to a suite on my second night (due to a problem in my small room the first night), the transfer of rooms courtesy of the fabulous staff. They really cared that I had a good experience and a good room. They even gave me a box of chocolates for my troubles.||You will enjoy your stay here, and the excellent customer service provided by the staff.||The breakfast included a wide variety of hot foods, cold meats and cheese, yogurts, fruit and pastries. The staff really strive to exceed your expectations. If you don’t care for the machine coffee, they will make a latte in the kitchen and bring it to you! (Tip the hardworking person who dies that for you.)||I loved that the air conditioning worked so well.

This is a good option for stay in Split. Firstly, the staff are excellent and both welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is a bit old-fashioned (physical keys, old decor) but nothing to complain about. The location is a 10 minute walk from the buzzy centre which can be a positive or negative depending on what you want. They have good parking at hotel. Breakfast is standard/good.

The old decoration can freak you out but the comfortable room (amazing bed) and the amazing staff is worth the stay. Breakfast is good too. Close to the old town

The location of the hotel is quite convenient. The hotel is charming and decorated with older furniture which makes it very interesting versus the typical modern day and sterile standards found in most hotels. However, the room I had needed some attention: the light fixtures lacked bulbs that were not burned out; the shower did not work well and the window did not close completely, so the cold air was somewhat of an issue overnight. The breakfast was less than optimal, as compared with other hotels in the same price range. The staff were very friendly and helpful. for which I was appreciative.
