HOTEL GODWIN 3 STAR HOTEL

We booked this hotel on the eve of our stay, as the previous hotel that we booked was not up to our expectations. I would say that the staff at Godwin are so helpful, they tried their best to make the check-in procedure go smoothly. They even offer us free breakfast on the check-in day.||||The room was big and very clean with a comfortable bed. Luxurious bathroom. ||Breakfast was good, a little bit limited, but was not an issue for me, I was able to adjust. The location is superb. walking distance to the gateway of India, and the shopping street of Colaba. Lots of good restaurants to eat nearby. The hotel also has a good dinner package. ||||The staff helped us with our heavy luggage and sometimes when coming back from our shopping haul, they would carry our bags to our room.||Hence I surely recommend this hotel

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It is located in south Mumbai and very close to tourist spots. The rooms are clean and quiet. We had room service, with clean sheets and towels, everyday for our 15 days stay. They also provided free 1L water bottles (2x) every day! What we most appreciated was the peace and quite from road noise. The AC worked well, there was good water pressure and hot water on demand, which can be an issue in some Indian hotels. We also visited their rooftop restaurant which has an awesome view of south Mumbai. The food was delicious too. ||The room included breakfast which was mostly Indian cuisine which we did'nt care for, however, they were very accommodating and would prepare fresh eggs in any manner we chose. The manager at the restaurant, Edwin Daniel, was most helpful, professional and a pleasure to talk with. ||Overall our stay at the Godwin Hotel was very comfortable and we would highly recommend it.

Great Hotel to stay there. Affordable and comfortable. Breakfast buffet should be improved. Need to improve the taste and variety of food.

We had a great time at this property. Mr Joel took good care of us and also upgraded us to suite room. Rooms was clean and promot room service. They also have a beautiful terrace restaurant named Cloud9 which have great sea view. Overall great experience.

Hotel Godwin is near to gate way of India. Hospitality in the hotel is just like wow... Mr. John D'souza, Hotel manager is very much kind enough to guide me and taken care of the stay. The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. Breakfast offered with a wide variety of food. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is just perfect for a walk around the city centre, Colaba causeway and gate way of India. Totally awesome stay.. Pls experience it.

It's really nice hotel in colaba with full facilities. Safe location in calm environment.Round the clock hot water, lift, restaurant and room service. Walking distance to gate way of India and other local tourists spots are easily approachable. Room size are large and comfortable. The great thing was that, as per telephonic request before booking hotel manager allowed to check in early before check in time so that my half day was saved for roaming as room was available.. Check out process was hassle free.. Street food, South Indian food stalls and tea stalls are not found there in nearby walking area like nariman point. Thanks Goodwin...

I’ll rate this 5/5 and recommend this hotel to everyone visiting mumbai. Special mention to Mr. Girish at the front office for his hospitality and kind behaviour. Super welcoming team. Amazing location. Tasty breakfast and spectacular rooftop restaurant. This hotel has it all. Must stay.

I was astounded how shabby and run down the hotel has become! The front porch is dangerous to walk under as the roof materials are rotted and falling off. Last night two large wall panels fell off the building and more seem loose. Every repair seems badly done ! I looked at four rooms before finding one which didn’t need repairs! There are cracked tiles in bathrooms broken furniture etc! I emailed the owner but no response! The staff are great and the breakfast is ok but doesn’t have European breakfast! This is definitely not as described as four star!! It is in a disgraceful state of repair!!
