HOTEL GODWIN 3 STAR HOTEL

We were very happy with the hotel and service. All the staff were very polite, helpful and efficient. Front office staff Narendar Singh, Kiran n team were very efficient and helpful. Food was excellent and reasonably priced at the rooftop restaurant. Breakfast had a good variety with excellent service. Great location,walking distance to Colaba shops,restaurants and sightseeing. Will come back again here and highly recommend to our friends. Puran Singh Hazara

I found this hotel to be a solid option for a stay in Mumbai. Very good location, excellent attention from the competent and friendly staff, comfortable and clean bed, hot buffet breakfast included. My room was spacious and quiet, and had working AC and nice hot shower. While some fixtures in the bathroom could have been improved, I would definitely stay here again. There's also a nice restaurant bar on the 9th floor with an open terrace and views of the city.

I first stayed here in 2013 and I've been back intermittently over the years. I still maintain this is the best street in South Bombay. The Godwin, though fading in some ways is constantly being renovated. I was so lucky with my 7th floor Garden Rd facing room with views of the Taj Hotel and right across to VT and Rajabai Tower on the Maidan. It's just the best location and wonderful for a first time visitor to India. The staff are simply brilliant. You can walk everywhere in Sobo you want to go.

The staff was very attentive. Everything I asked for was handled quickly and with genuine care. The place is clean and well maintained. They have a high level of service awareness. It’s located close to everything, within walking distance. I truly enjoyed my time there.

The room photos are visually enhanced. Rooms are okay and vintage. The hotel has very old construction and not properly maintained/upgraded with time. This might be a luxury hotel in the 90s or 00s but now its an average hotel with above average fare. This hotel still has that sliding windows which are broken. So you can't lock them and air from outside keeps coming in even when they are closed. Also there are rooms in hotel which are very very old, congested and dusty. It gives a straight 80s feel but feels like hell hole instead of vintage. I had got this room and asked to change. The staff is polite and good who obliged with my request and gave better room but I'm still traumatized with the first room that they gave me. Posting pictures of this room.

I stayed at this hotel last night and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was spotlessly clean, which made a great first impression. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. However, the food was a bit of a letdown. While the service was excellent, the quality and taste of the meals didn’t quite meet expectations. Despite this, the overall experience was still positive, and I would consider staying here again, hoping for an improvement in the dining options.
