Hotel Golden Lake Resort

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. We were satisfied with everything this time as well. The staff is very kind and the service is fantastic. The food was delicious. The hotel and its surroundings are clean, tidy and regularly maintained. The services of the wellness department are excellent, you can find everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

Everything was very good. Breakfast, dinner are delicious. Room was fantastic ( whole lake view) Congratulation to the men at sauna seance. Miki and his son were fantastic!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very kind and welcoming, the room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and plentiful. The wellness area was also excellent, perfect for relaxing after a long day. I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to return.

We were in a room with a view of lake Balaton. This side was very nice and quiet. (We also asked for this side and we got it, many thanks for the support!) The stuff was very nice and helpful everytime. Wellness was really calm. Food was exrtemely good! We were satisfied, we will come back soon! ;)

Everything was very nice! Staff was very helpful and friendry! Food was delicious, lots of options to choose from! Rom was very cozy and well equipped! Recommend!

Everything was gorgious. The sauna seance was an unforgivable experience. The bed was comfortable and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. Thank you for everything.

This hotel is located right in the buzzing heart of Balatonfüred with a great view on Lake Balaton and Tihany Monastery. The indoor spa area, the outdoor pool and the jacuzzi offers a relaxing escape from the busy downtown. The service is decent, but some of the staff is a bit odd at times. The breakfast buffet is also well rounded and offers a good variety of healthy and traditional choices. What I found odd about Golden Lake Resort was that for an accommodation in this price range, the rooms are barebone: I would highlight the extremely cheap tovels, bad quality beds and the lack of attention to furnishing the rooms. You could also tell that this resort has seen better days: it lacked maintanance, for example the deck of balconies were covered with mold, the bathroom was falling apart, etc. What was probably the most glaring example of bad management or lack of attention to details was the almost unusable wireless connection. Again, at a central location like this and at this price range it's unacceptable.
