Value for money. At this price, we got an excellent room, and breakfast was at a good and standard kedeligt, without being ekstravagant. But service with a lot of attention from the staff.|Rough neighbourhood, but should be expected when you select a hotel next to the main station.

Very sketchy location, have to make addicts move to get in and out half the time, although very close to the central station. Room was very small, close to zero amenities, ventilator broken in bathroom and no ac in the room so window has to stay open just to get the shower steam to dissipate. Good sound isolation between rooms, but very bad Isolation through the room door - could hear what people walking past were talking about when standing on the other side of the room Overall, the room and stay was completely adequate, but looses points for the surprisingly high price given what you get.

When we booked, we were looking for a room with only a bathtub, not a shower. Found a good and inexpensive option in this hotel, booked, arrived, and got absolutely not what we wanted. There is no bathtub instead of a shower, and the room is much smaller than what we looked at on the website. Overall, I am not satisfied. But the staff is friendly and that's a plus. And in other than that, this is not a good place to stop here. if you have a couple hundred more, get something better.

The hotel is near the station and the aerea outside is not very safe. Almost 99% of the hotel is covered in carpet, carpet that hasn’t been cleaned or changed since the hotel has opened. It’s terrible.The carpet in the rooms is even worse.There’s no AC and it was hot even with the windows open. No fan was provided either.Our room didn’t have a fridge, for some reason it was removed from its original spot and never replaced. The beds had no bedside table or anything. Just a small shelf that could fit nothing.The shower is mounted on the wrong wall so showering means flooding the bathroom.The breakfast lacks of any vegan/lactose free food and the breakfast staff only speaks German and it’s quite rude.The coffee offered is not coffee, more like dirty water.

The hotel is very nice and very close to the train station. The receptionists are great, but the area seems very unsafe, full of drug addicts.

The hotel is great, big, there's an elevator, the reception staff are so helpful & friendly, you feel like at home with your family.|Breakfast is tasty with various cold cuts & cheese, fruit, yogurt, Nutella but no hot food like sausages or scrambled eggs, only boiled eggs is there.|The room was big, 3 beds ( 1 double, 1 single ) & a sofa transform into bed also.|The bathroom has two sinks & two showers, one big & one small.|The problem was that there's no air condition in the room & the weather was so hot these days.|But the staff were so helpful & being 2 fans, the weather is good now.|The hotel is very nice, location is great, just across the street there's Hamburg main station HBF ( Metros & Trains ) .|Across the street there's bug bus station also.|Street near the hotel is full of small shops & supermarkets.|The main shopping street in Hamburg is about 5 min walk, where there's all famous shops, C&A, P&C, Huge Saturn ( who is now MediaMarkt ), Deichman, LEGO, Douglas...........|Also a lot of cafes & restaurants.|We enjoyed our stay in Hamburg & particularly Novum Hotel.|Till our next time.|

Good choice for the reasonable price Room was clean and tidy. Perfect location just across the road from the central railway station and subway

This is a no frills hotel good for staying a couple of nights. It is quite expensive for what it actually is, but it was among the cheapest options I coule find when booking. Perhaps that's the price standard in Hamburg. The room looked a bit dated but it was quite spacious compared to other hotels in Europe. The location is great, close to the city centre and train station. However, you do see a lot of weird people wandering around the area near the hotel. I did not have any issues, but I would recommend staying vigilant. Breakfast is basic, but at least it is included so you won't leave hungry in the morning.

This hotel chain will not let you cancel a reservation. They dont care. They just want any excuse to keep your money. Stay away.

Not a bad choice, all in all. The location is perfect - very near the Bahnhof and well within walking distance of the downtown sites and shops. The room is not modern or beautifully appointed, but it was clean, and the bathroom was pretty nice. The bed was fine, although we both hit our heads on the strangely designed headboard - and I heard a similar sound from the next room, so I can only assume that we weren't the only oneshaha - but this aside, I have no complaints. Unless you spend a lot of time in your room (but why would you?), this is a great option for the price.
