We stayed at the Gran Garbi Mar from 29th May for a week. 5 Adults and 4 kids. All inclusive. |The rooms were basic but clean. Continental breakfast is available in this hotel or you can walk across the road to the sister hotel for a hot breakfast buffet. Lunch and dinner are also served at the sister hotel. |The food was really nice, loads of choice even for the fussy eaters and even gluten free was advertised on the relevant dishes. |The aquapark opened on the 1st June and was really good for all ages. The lifeguards were so friendly and even participated in a few races with the kids down the slides. The drinks on all inclusive were basic at this pool compared to the pool at the sister hotel. We always managed to get a sunbed but I could imagine in the summer holidays that it would be more difficult.|The beach was a 5 minute walk away and there were local shops opposite the Gran Garbi hotel. |The entertainment which was ran by Sergio was really good fun, he got everyone involved in the games round the pool and even the aqua aerobics. He made sure to remember everyone’s names and you could tell he really enjoyed getting to know the guests and making them feel welcome.

Great hotel. We stayed half board which was unusual for us now we don’t have kids with us. Plenty of choice, and we never struggled to find anything to eat. Lovely you could also eat outside. |Pool and public areas spotless. Our room was fresh and clean but could do with an update but no complaints.

The rooms in the hotel are really disappointing - too small, you have literally no space there. The room for 4 was made by adding 2 single beds so we ended up sleeping all together in a long row of beds. Rooms are old school, we had blocked drains in the shower which caused flooding all the time and there was a nasty smell of mold from the air conditioner. The huge plus of the hotel is the cleanliness of the rooms, the cleaner was there every day and most of the service room was so lovely. In the bar or restaurants most of the service was fantastic as well, but the absolutely huge star of this hotel was animator Sergio - he makes an outstanding atmosphere there, absolutely joyful to meet people like him and I think he is the best part of this place. The location of the hotel is okay, really close to the beaches from both sides and literally everywhere.

Nice hotel and good value for money. Caters well for people needing gluten free or Halal diets also. I do recommend. Staff friendly, helpful. No concerns. Parking is available also and secure with a 5 euro returnable deposit on departure. Good pool facilities.

Think this hotel gets a bad rap and was much nicer than I anticipated upon arrival. Stayed for 5 nights all inclusive as a family of 4. Reception, bar, pool area and restaurant all nicely decorated , looked clean and fresh. Yes the rooms are a bit outdated and cramped if in a quadruple room but had everything you needed and perfectly fine. All inclusive I thought was good value for money and definitely worth the extra money particularly if on a budget. Good selection of food and drinks included. No it’s not an English standard 4 star hotel but it’s not English standard 4 star price either so overall very good value for money.

We stayed 7 days in Gran Garbi Hotel. in 211 room. Nails, hair on the floor, bath tube dirty, the wash up basin as well greasy. Dust on table. We went straight away to ask for clean again. They did it which is great 😊 |If it’s on buget it doesn’t mean that had to be dirty and not hygiene.|Air conditioning working properly. |The bed blankets full with human hair. Disgusting. We were with 3 year old and 1 year old baby. Not hygienic at all. Dirty fingerprints walls. |All inclusive it’s far from reality on Gran Garbi Hotel. |Poor food choice. Same day basically the same menu. The snack bar between meals very poor as well, compared in Salou which was much much better( as well 4* hotel) |The hotel entertainment is very poor as well. Not even music at the pool.

The location is grate, room's are clean and freshly tidyed every day. Food choices for everyday is amazing. The program in the hotel is pretty good! Every day there is something new like animations, singing and stuff like that. I guarantee you will have a great time!

As soon as you walk in reception would remind you of a 2* and it does not get much better Rooms are a very average 2* with marks on wall and a few loose parts ie switches and handles The dinning room was something else overcrowded noisy and honest it was dirty the area outside was a health hazard nothing was cleared and if it was it was never cleaned . Reception staff were just alright but a young chap Mark was very helpful As for the bar ALL the older staff need sacked really rude especially the barman with grey hair had to remind him that we were keeping him in a job but a short time after that he was back to his normal rude self Both pools were busy but if you were at the top one it was dirty and l never saw it being cleaned scum around the pool was something else A lot of loose tiles that need sorted along with everything else l think the so called manager walks around with his eyes closed By the way if you do go make sure you stay in the main hotel otherwise other building is worse. Will give it 2* and anyone that gives it 3 * must not be used to what a good 4* should be like . If we got a free stay would not go back STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE
