Hotel Gran Palma Paracas

This is a hotel that must believe its own advertising. If you read anything about this place it says its amazing and has top class facilities. That couldn't be further from the truth. It's a 2 star at best that needs renovating badly, a very poor "free" breakfast and a hotel that has its staff work 7 days straight. There are other options in Paracas. Don't choose this place.

Room was very small and old. Nothing was impressive. Just stayed one night. The only merit went to the rooftop breakfast buffet. But we had to catch a morning boat trip, just had 10min to enjoy.

I liked a lot, even I only stayed for 1 night. They have a pool, rooftop is used for breakfast. The stuff is helpful, the rooms are clean. The only (reasonable) problem was super loud music in the malecon area (that's why I removed 1 star for location, which may not be very fair).

Basic hotel. No AC and no elevator if you have trouble with stairs. Nice breakfast on the roof with a great view of the harbor. Rooms were very small.

Not worth the money. Breakfast is included but less than basic. No hot water. Tiny rooms Only positives. Friendly staff. Great location. Not worth more than $10-20 per night. Won’t be staying here again

Nice, clean hotel. As others have said, the rooms are very small. Our family of four was pretty cramped in one of the rooms with two double beds. The staff was friendly, the location is awesome. The rooftop is perfect for the yummy breakfast. The kids enjoyed the pool, while grownups enjoyed the pool bar. A good place to crash for a night or two.

Not great. It’s one of the highest we paid across Peru and it wasn’t worth it. The breakfast is terrible, rooms are ok, not the cleanest. Location is good (everywhere is as this town is TINY), and the staff were very sweet. Oh and there was no hot water in the mornings. Every morning we had to go down and ask for hot water and keep trying over the next hour. Not worth the money but it seems this is the standard in Paracas unless you stay at one of the fancy and expensive resorts just outside of the town.

Me and my wife had an excellent honeymoon experience here. Very friendly staff, very clean rooms and beautiful ocean view. I would take the low reviews with a grain of salt. This place was fantastic! I’ve been to many hotels, I am from Canada, and I love Peru!
