Hotel Gran Palma Paracas

Not great. It’s one of the highest we paid across Peru and it wasn’t worth it. The breakfast is terrible, rooms are ok, not the cleanest. Location is good (everywhere is as this town is TINY), and the staff were very sweet. Oh and there was no hot water in the mornings. Every morning we had to go down and ask for hot water and keep trying over the next hour. Not worth the money but it seems this is the standard in Paracas unless you stay at one of the fancy and expensive resorts just outside of the town.

Me and my wife had an excellent honeymoon experience here. Very friendly staff, very clean rooms and beautiful ocean view. I would take the low reviews with a grain of salt. This place was fantastic! I’ve been to many hotels, I am from Canada, and I love Peru!

Not worth the money. Breakfast is included but less than basic. No hot water. Tiny rooms Only positives. Friendly staff. Great location. Not worth more than $10-20 per night. Won’t be staying here again

Moldy and moist rooms. Tiny room, could barely open our suitcases. There was dog piss in the reception. And the breakfast was less than basic. The guy working at the breakfast was nice.

We reserved our rooms a few weeks in advance so we knew it wasn't the best option for a family of 8. It is your standard simple hotel. If you are facing the street, it gets noisy. The door kept rattling because of the wind but eventually it stopped once they closed the front entrance at night. It is fine of you just need a clean place to stay the night. it is not too far from the boat tours.

Nice, clean hotel. As others have said, the rooms are very small. Our family of four was pretty cramped in one of the rooms with two double beds. The staff was friendly, the location is awesome. The rooftop is perfect for the yummy breakfast. The kids enjoyed the pool, while grownups enjoyed the pool bar. A good place to crash for a night or two.

Hotel is terrible, room was entirely too small, it had a bad smell, air conditioning leaked and made noise all night literally all night we could not sleep. Reception was not helpful, when trying to cancel the second night they gave a hassle and did not want to refund us. This is a 1 star hotel trying to pass as a nice hotel, if they charge $10 the night I can see dealing with it but at $90 a night it NOT WORTH IT!

Staff were unfriendly and acted put out to have to deal with guests. Not particularly accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable but small. Street side was very loud. Breakfast on the balcony was lovely. Don't eat down by the pool, the food wasn't good and again, they acted put out to have to cook.
