From the moment I arrived at Hotel Grand Bach Tokyo Ginza, I knew I had made the right choice. The location is exceptional — tucked into the heart of Ginza, yet remarkably peaceful. You’re steps from world-class shopping, restaurants, and transit, but the hotel itself feels like a refined retreat from the city’s energy. The design is elegant and calming, with subtle musical influences woven throughout the space. The lobby sets the tone immediately — warm, understated, and sophisticated without trying too hard. My room was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and incredibly functional. Every detail felt intentional. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the lighting thoughtful, and the bathroom luxurious without being excessive. The service elevates this hotel. The staff are professional, attentive, and gracious in a way that feels authentic — never forced. Every interaction was smooth and welcoming. They anticipate needs before you even ask. Breakfast deserves special mention. The quality is outstanding — beautifully presented, balanced, and distinctly Japanese with a refined twist. It felt more like dining at a curated restaurant than a standard hotel buffet. If you’re staying in Tokyo and want a boutique experience that combines serenity, precision, and genuine hospitality in one of the city’s best neighborhoods, Hotel Grand Bach Tokyo Ginza delivers. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great hotel and great location in Ginza (only 7 min walk to Ginza 9).||The nearest metro is the Higashi-Ginza Station and it is just sround the corner from the hotel. This station gets you to most places in Tokyo without any change overs (direct connection to Shimbashi, Asakusa, Skytree, Akihabara, Shinagawa, Roppongi, Azabudai Hills, Narita airport, Haneda Airport).|Also the hotel is only 15 min walk to Shimbashi, 25 min walk to the Imperial Palace and 40 min walk to Tokyo Tower. It was very easy to get to anywhere in Tokyo from this location.||Close to the hotel there are numerous restaurants and combinis (7-11, Lawson & a Family Mart) within walking distance.||Although the hotel lacks a gym, swimming pool and spa for a 4 star establishment, it does make up for this with spacious rooms and a chich atmosphere with elegant decor. There is also life classical music being played at the hotel bar.||The room was spacious (with 3 beds), clean, well laid out and well maintained. There was no significant untowards noise despite the hotel being located in central Ginza. Shower facilities in the room was exceptional.||The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful.|The only main downside was their WIFI and internet service that was non-existant. For our 3 nights stay the internet speed was so slow that we could not even browse (this meant you could not watch Netflix on streaming). We informed the reception and was told their internet connection was bad. There was no attempt to rectify this issue. However, after further discussions, they said they would provide us with a mobile WIFI device to connect to the internet. This device was even worst. It did not have a dedicated data SIM and connected to the hotels cloud server at 1MBs. Again completely non-useable.|I would expect a luxury hotel to have high speed internet access as a basic especially for the price of their rooms.

I had a wonderful stay at Grand Bach Tokyo Ginza. The location is absolutely perfect right in the center of everything and very close to the tube, which made getting around so easy. The hotel is extremely clean, friendly, and the rooms are amazing and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, with lots of food choices. View from the room was absolutely stunning!||A special mention to Eri, Kiko, and Yui at the front desk. These three ladies were truly incredible, super helpful, super friendly, and always polite. Their service made my stay even better.||Overall, this is an incredible hotel and I can’t recommend it more.

We booked for 6 nights for 3.||Pro:|Location is great. Very near main Ginza shopping, with a Lawson and Starbucks just below the hotel. Near Imperial palace garden, great for runs. 1 round is 4.5KM.||Cons: |VERY SMALL ROOM for 3. Unable to open suitcases with space to walk.|VERY NOISY. It is suitated beside a tunnel entrance/exit, and EVERY night we are woken up by loud vehicle exhaust, ambulance or police sirens. Extremely noisy. Very bad rest everyday.|VERY BAD HOUSEKEEPING. we've ever encountered throughout our holiday trip over the years. Bed were not made, our clothes were thrown around, floor not vacuum and rubbished not cleared. Informed the cleaning lady (from China) but to no avail. Informed front desk. Still the same. ||Issues:|We informed the hotel we will be checking in late at night. When trying to check-in and pay for the credit card deposit, the check-in staff kept saying he couldn't charge my card. I got on the phone back to my bank and the bank informs there was no attempted charge from the merchant. Whole episode took us 45mins and $48 phone charges. Went down next day and they tried again, this time it went through. apparently it was a problem on the hotel system.||Breakfast included was a scam. literally just bananas, half a coffee machine, some hard bread that looks much worse than those from Lawson. There wasn't even milk nor juice. Raised a complain to front desk, front desk escalated to management and refunded us the breakfast cost. We werer literally shocked by the breakfast.

Travelled from Canada to Tokyo for 4 nights. This location is perfect. Train is two mins walk, tons of great restaurants and shopping near by. Polite and extremely helpful staff, rooms are immaculate and property well kept. The breakfast buffet had lovely options as well.

This was our first hotel ever in Japan and it set the bar high. We had a corner king room on the higher floor. It was so spacious and had every amenity. Even a full make up vanity! The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was very quiet, we never heard anyone past the lobby. Breakfast was included and the food was amazing. I want to know how to make the salad dressing and vegetable soup so I could eat everyday! We also had the bar included it we were too tired every night to partake. The front desk staff were so friendly and spoke English very well as my Japanese is not very good.

The junior suite is great. But the bathroom double sinks around the drains not clean. Both got yellow/brown stains. I have used the hotel toothbrush gently clean it the sink on the left hand side is come off. And the sink in the toilet same. I thought hygiene is top in Japan 🤷‍♀️. 2 out of 4 I have stayed this trip are like this. Pic 1 bathroom. Pic 2 toilet.

The location is excellent. The room was nice and clean. We didn’t have the opportunity to try the food at the hotel. There was no doorman so checking in and checking out was a bit of a hassle as we had to transfer all our luggages ourselves (the hotel lobby is on the second floor and you need to switch elevators).
