This hotel is so affordable I had been searching for weeks trying to find a hotel to stay at that was close to the trams and easy to get around in the city we were Adelaide for Disney on Ice. This place was value for money and when I read all the reviews I was just praying all the reviews were true. YES it's true!||Customer service is wonderful, breakfast buffet is so delicious and worth every dollar, the location is the best, close to everything, caters to families, wonderful for the kids, the spa and pool was the best and heated. The boys and girls at reception are so friendly and always smiling.||We will only stay at this hotel when we are in Adelaide

The hotel Grand Chancellor was a pleasant surprise. As we did not pay top dollar, we expected basic. It is more than that. The rooms are modern and clean. We thought there would be a queen size bed, but it was a very comfortable king. Check-in was easy, and the receptionist welcoming and very helpful. The lift going directly from the basement parking garage to our floor was greatly appreciated when lugging cases. There is a dining room which also offers room service. The location is perfect. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We only stayed for the night but it was a very convenient, clean and decent price place to stay in Adelaide. Located right down the street from Rundle Mall, it was a 20 minute Uber X from the airport (approx $17) and there was a convenient drop off/pick up spot out the front. Lots of food options around however the surrounding buildings and business were a little shady and rundown (a LOT of massage parlours). The staff were helpful with checking in and out and held out luggage for us as our flight home was late at night. The room was clean and had good amount of space, though the view was a bit boring (just looks out into buildings). We ordered room service for dinner and had a delicious pizza, pork ribs, and chicken schnitzel that was prompt and hot. Bit pricey but typical of a hotel, though they had a great menu. We had breakfast at the buffet the next morning and there was an excellent spread and amenities. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a conveniently located spot in the city.

Spent 2 nights in room 1201 on top floor. The hotel kindly upgraded our room for our wedding anniversary. Room was clean, well appointed and we enjoyed our stay. It was too cool to swim but we used the sauna and spa they were great. Breakfast buffet had plenty to offer. Location was fantastic close walk to Rundle Mall and Adelaide Casino.

I stayed here for work as a last minute booking- What an absolute precious gem in the heart of Adelaide! Location was fantastic, Rooms were clean and spacious with all the touches like robes and slippers- Room Service was delicious with impeccable customer service! The best blue cheese I’ve ever had in Australia. Now if you’re lucky enough to get room 1104 - enjoy the stunning sunsets each night! watching planes fly in to Adelaide airport is truly an experience!

Lovely pool and sauna area. Rooms was clean, and amenities were good. I am especially grateful for the fast working air cond. There was a strange light on the ceiling that couldn't be turned off, which wasn't great when trying to fall asleep. Lift was a little jittery and cramped
