We stay at the hotel for three nights and have a wonderful time with friendly and helpful staffs. Located in central city, walking distance to market and and all the local shops. They provide excellent breakfast and also a full menus for all meals. The seafood is fresh from the ocean and the whole fish with tamarind sauce is a memorable dish. My view from the balcony will be cherished forever.

I stayed there for 3 nights with my family at deluxe sea view. It is located in the city center and just beside shopping mall. The view from the room is spectacular. The room is big enough for 3 persons. Staffs are very friendly and whatever we request, arrives in a few minutes. Breakfast is very good and you can try many local tastes. I will stay there again whenever I go to Myeik.

Stayed here during a business trip. It certainly wasn't a luxury hotel or anything alike but functional and felt reasonably clean. The hotel felt dated and the rooms are OK for a few nights. I had a room on the 7th floor which overlooked the town and partly the ocean which was great. The bed and in room amenities are all reasonably ok and you can definitively get by.||The hotel also has a gym but I didn't visit. Breakfast was terrible, there's nothing there to eat at all but at least the view was nice from the top floor.||The location is great. Right in the center of town and very close to all the key attractions. There's also a supermarket downstairs for your basic essentials and a number of local places to eat for very cheap. A hotel shuttle is also available to take you to the airport.

We have stayed at Grand Jade based on a "Special Budget offer" which was described as having a smaller room and no breakfast included - a deal we were happy to accept to spend a bit less money. The price was still 24 USD per night, which on our overall travel to different places in Myanmar had already been sufficient to have outstanding service, good quality rooms and great placements. Our stay at Grand Jade can be resumed as the biggest error we could have done to come to Myeik.||||Here some points to line out the missing service and extremely unfriendly personal which was always excused by the fact we were only "Budget clients" (we met only great personal before and rated all other hotels from 8,5-9,6/10 as a comparison):||||- A blanket for your bed? Not if you are a budget client. Never saw this anywhere before, at homestays on trekking in Myanmar the hosts provided blankets. We had to fight to get one and even risked a supplement payment to have this "comfort". As there is a window (with view on another room directly without daylight) you cannot close correctly a blanket was absolutely not a luxury.||- Free shuttle is written everywhere and finally ... not for "Budget clients" which was definitively not mentioned for the offer (they even lined out this advantage)||- Bath room was a swimming pool (drainpipe bloked, therefore mildew)||- High humidity in the room||- Credit card payment? Huge surprise at the end, they only accept Dollar Cash? That wasn't the deal and after discussion with different managers, what a miracle, they found a card machine somewhere||- Free Wifi ? A joke... It worked 5 minutes per hour correctly and the rest of the time even text messages took a lot of time to load||...||- Privacy? No, business first. 9am when check-out is at 12 somebody already knocks at your door to make you leave and make the room. When precising the check-out time and will to leave at 12 not a word of excuse from staff, seems normal to even enter rooms who are still occupied.||- Customer centricity? They do not seem to care about good atmosphere, client orientation and points like this are not their ||||Searching for positive points:||- Placement is the reason why we chose it and the way to city center is in fact short (but there are lots of others, too ;))||- Some people might appreciate the direct agency service in the lobby to book a trip to the islands||- View from the rooftop (if you are ok to pay the double of quality restaurants for poor quality)||||Up to you if this is what your stay in Myeik should look like - all others we met in Myeik had better hotels, so we would recommend to search further.

good things: 1. View from the roof-top bar is quiet nice. 2. locate in a good area. bad things: 1. all facilities are need to improve. AC isn't cool. Room cleaning isn't also good enough. sometimes the lift doesn't work well. Staff are nice but bad services.

First room given at $40 was on the inside with window facing a wall. No desk chair so can't do any work. Changed to a deluxe room at $60 with view of the city and port. Very nice room. Bed a bit hard. Room was clean. Rooftop restaurant nice breeze and good view but I didn't find the food particularly good.

I switched to this downtown hotel after my stay at Myint Mo Hotel. Although, it is more expensive than Myint Mo Hotel, I definitely think it is worth the money for the room that I stayed in. It has balcony which I can go out and enjoy the sunset of Andaman Sea with mountains in between. The bellboy with pale face has also helped me alot although he didn't understand much about what I mean. There was also shopping mall attached next to it which I can buy my beer conveniently and everything was just walking distance. ||The only weakness of this hotel is its wifi connection, not too strong. I have to move around my mobile phone to get a decent signal in my room. ||Overall, I would give this hotel five star for its location and value for money.

I have an experience only as a hospitality professional. I wanted to stay here for 5 nights in August when it was very bad weather rain season, so almost now tourists at all in the city. They said themselves too, that there were few guests only. The room was 12 us dollar per night. I said I want 9 but ok 10 max per night , for 5 nights, so 50 dollar, and no need to change room textile neither towel. They went to the manager and he said definitely no. I think business wise they could had have say yes..
