My family spent 2 nights at the Hotel Grief while in town for the Christmas market. The location was perfect since the hotel is located on the same square as the market. The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped and the beds were great. All the staff were friendly and very helpful as well. We arrived a little earlier than the published check in time, but were allowed access to our rooms immediately. We were all pleasantly surprised at the quality of the breakfast served each morning. There were lots of choices and eggs cooked to order were offered as well. Overall a great stay and we'd definitely recommend the hotel to anyone traveling in the area.

Very nice hotel. In the middle of town. My room actually had view to the main town square. The staff is very nice as well. The only thing I could say negative about this hotel is that is not accessible for people with walking disabilities. The parking lot is underneath the building and from there to your room there are a lot of steps and stairs. Even from the elevator to you room you will have to cross stairs.

We booked a regular sized room that was quite spacious. There was a great deal of closet space, a mini bar, and a hot water tea pot for coffee/tea. The view wasnt great but we were on our way to the Dolomites and it served our purposes as we were close to the markets. It surprises me when people complain the hotel is dated as I've been in so many worse hotels in the US. Breakfast was good but not spectacular but good enough. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel has a great location, with friendly and helpful staff and an amazing breakfast. A special thank you to Ana, who served breakfast with a smile and patient help no matter the request. She was great! The location on Piazza Walther made it easy to get around town on foot.

Great location if you are taking public transportation. Our room was large and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The best night of sleep we had the entire trip. Breakfast was very delicious as well - omelettes were made to order and the service was very attentive. My one complaint was about the service at the hotel. We drove, which we shared upon check in, but nothing was mentioned to us about validating our parking. We only learned after asking our second day, which was frustrating. Upon our departure, we had to drop our rental car off at the airport and we asked about how we should get back to the train station. Their response was incredibly casual: "oh just take the bus, it runs every 15 minutes." Great! Sounds easy enough. I don't know if it was a holiday or what, but we waited over 45 minutes to get the 1 bus that morning that would take us to the train station. We almost missed our train - we literally had to run from the bus stop into the train station. Had we known, we would have made other plans in advance, but we were given false confidence in this. I gave 2/5 for service - I would give the breakfast staff 5/5 stars and the front desk staff 1/5 stars.

We had a wonderful stay! Our rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The front desk team was so warm and helpful. We enjoyed the garden bar at the sister hotel. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding as were the ladies who served it. We could not have had a better experience.

We loved every moment of our stay and can't wait to come back with more of our family. The staff were very friendly and helpful at any moment. The atmosphere out by the pool was perfect and we made friends with some of the other guests. The sauna was not available when we were around but I think we should have stayed around for another day to try it! And the breakfast in the morning was insane!

I have stayed the very good hotel around the world. I expected a lot from Hotel Greif. At the arrival at the hotel, I realized my expectation was wrong. The two women's was just talking each other. But later in the evening man receptionist was very kind. Without 2 women receptionist I would give 4-5 stars but nave give 2 star
