The best place in St Anton Amazing staff Food is unreal Rooms are lovely and spa area is perfect Wish we could afford it this year. Maybe next time!

I enjoyed a three night stay here with a large group of friends for a weekend of winter sports activities. The hotel is located centrally, just a short walk from the main lifts and only a few steps from the Main Street. The first thing you notice is the warm and friendly welcome from all the team at Hotel Grieshof. Every member of staff greets you with a warm smile and friendly hello. Never intrusive, always helpful. The rooms are well kept, cosy and well appointed. I stayed in room 229 which had lots of space, a nice balcony for relaxing in the sun and a modern, well equipped bathroom. There is a nice pool and wellness area and a spacious ski equipment room, a huge boot dryer and easy access in/out without going through the hotel itself. The bar and lounge are welcoming and comfortable and staff are always there to offer you a coffee, soft drink, beer or schnapps! Last but by no means least the food. “Excellent”. A good buffet breakfast to start your day with lots of choice and an option for cooked eggs if you wish. Strong coffee to wake you up is welcome. The evening meals were so good. I did not expect to eat so well at this price, and the wine selection has something for everyone. I will definitely return!

We had a great stay at this lovely small hotel. The food was excellent and we appreciated the friendly staff. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed spending time on the balcony.

Huge thanks to Herbert and the crew. We are both vegans and they made a wonderful effort to offer variety with many different vegetables. The grilled cauliflower steaks were amazing and I found myself asking for them every night which the chef was happy to do. The Alber’s have the best check in to rent skis and store equipment in heated storage boxes. The shop is right next to the lifts. The skiing was good but lacked blizzards that I prefer. Mostly sunny cold uncrowded slopes late March. If you can’t have a good time in St Anton there’s something not right. Thanks again Hotel Greishof

I can’t fault our stay. We were 2 families staying at the hotel and everything was perfect. Friendly and helpful and flexible staff. Great food. Brilliant location minutes from the train station, ski shop and slopes. The hotel facilities were very clean to, and the stay was amazing value for money. We will return !

Lovely hotel.Room was a good size, bed and bedding super comfortable. Spa area is great with the best hot tub I have been in. The hotel arranged a masseuse to come in and she was great. All the staff are very warm and friendly. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. We stayed 2 weeks and the menu did not repeat except for one night which was schnitzel so never a problem!

Went with my wife and 5 year old daughter in Jan/25.||Rebook it for Jan/26, withouot searching for alternative hotels in St. Anton.||As I said, I went with my wife and 5-year old daughter, but would go with my wife, just the 2 of us, or with friends on a friends' only trip (middle aged men).||The Grieshof is an excellent hotel, with excellent room, foodd, really helpful staff.||Traditional atmosphere.||Excellent location, in the middle of the village, which gives you the option of dining out or enjoying St. Anton's aprés scene, if you're there for the partying as well (but not at the hotel).||Excellent value.||Don't think twice before booking it.

We stayed for a week over New Years with our family. The location is perfect - short walk from train station (but they picked us up with our luggage), short walk to the main gondolas. We chose to rent lockers for ski equipment by the base but they have a nice boot/ski room too. We enjoyed the bar at night and sitting areas around the fireplace to hang out together. Dinner was very good with three choices each night. Deluxe double rooms were big. Jr Suite was even larger. Overall a wonderful stay!!

Hotel Grieshof is elegant, comfortable, friendly, attentive but not obtrusive. We love staying here and paying for the half board, which means you get breakfast and dinner covered! We stayed here as a family and had the suite for the 4 of us. Very special vacation. Their food is amazing c esp the authentic Wiener Schnitzel with lingonberries and parsley potatoes! The chocolate ice cream is made from Swiss chocolate - 'nuff said!

Okay Dining Option in St Anton (this review is for the restaurant not the hotel itself) We tried several restaurants in St Anton and most of them were amazing. Griesof was good but definitely not amazing - we'll probably skip it the next time we're there on holiday.

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The rooms are fine, whatever. Pretty spacious, decent stuff, so on and so forth. Shower was weird. Not really the point. The service. My god, the service. They'll bend over backward for you. And it's the same smiling faces, morning, noon, and night. So awesome. I came down for breakfast the first morning, asked for coffee from a guy I hadn't seen yet, and he just knew who I was, no questions. No idea how they do that, but it basically sums up our experience there. The common spaces are gorgeous, great to sit by the fire and read and enjoy a drink. Pool is gorgeous. Expect the authentic euro sauna experience, if you get the drift. Lastly, I disagree with Dave K's review to some degree. There's a lot of great food in St. Anton, and Grieshof is no exception. 4 or 5 course, waitered, amazing. Some real authentic Tyrolian items, some more classic international dishes. Dessert, in particular, was out of this world. Additionally, if you're staying there, you'll have your own private table for your stay. Thanks a million to the staff there, a highlight of an already great week stay in an amazing place.
