Mixed Experience – Room Nice, Service Lacking||When we arrived, the welcome was cold. We were told to hurry if we wanted to eat at the restaurant because it would soon be full. We rushed to get a table, but the restaurant was completely empty. The food wasn’t bad, but nothing special either. The large beer was priced as a full-size, yet only 400ml instead of the standard 500ml. The staff seemed uninterested, as if they’d rather be somewhere else—though the food did arrive quickly.||The room itself was spacious, clean, and very nice. However, the heating was set to maximum and the room was uncomfortably hot. We had forgotten a toothbrush for our child and asked if they had one. They did, but it cost 800 ISK—something most hotels offer for free.||Outside, the hot pots had no lighting. It might be beautiful in summer or under the northern lights, but in pitch darkness it wasn’t enjoyable.||Breakfast was another odd experience. The staff cleared plates so quickly that I had to fetch three different ones. My spouse went to get milk for our child, along with coffee and diapers, and while our child was still holding her bread, her plate disappeared. It felt like the service was a bit too eager—almost intrusive.||---||I think i will not be staying there again

Very nice hotel. Live the layout. 4 rooms to a building with semi private hot tub out back of each building. Common area with kitchen area, large dining table and comfy sofa. Great breakfast. Full English breakfast available and was delicious. Room was a very good size comfy bed, nice furniture and staff were warm and welcoming.

We liked everything. The service, the cleanliness, and the food. A big plus is that there are hot tubs and a private terrace. Of all the hotels I've stayed at in Iceland, I liked yours the most. We'll definitely be back again and again. Best wishes! Best regards, Neringa Ciunkaite

Travelled with 3 other couples and we got upgraded to the Deluxe House which allowed all of us to be in the same building and have a living area to meet up in the evening. The Hotel is beautiful and wish we were able to stay more than one night. What made it even more special was the service that Andrijana B provided us during happy hour and our dinner. Andrijana was so friendly and helpful to our party of 8. The food and drinks were delicious. |Only downside is we didn't see the Northern lights but the night before they had a beautiful show.|Some of the guests enjoyed the hot tub however there were only spots of it that were hot. They felt that it could have been a little hotter.||Highly recommend this hotel.

We truly had the most wonderful experience staying here! We were only in Iceland for a few days (on IcelandAir's extended layover), and we all wished we could stay longer. The accommodations we so comfortable: ample pillows, huge bathroom and tub, comfy mattress. I usually sleep poorly when away from home, but I slept like a baby! The complimentary breakfast was stellar. Tons of delicious food options (fruit, eggs, vegetables, yogurts, cereals, meats, breads, pastries) and an expresso machine that could make a lot of different coffee drinks. Staff even arranged to make us a to go box of food when we mentioned were leaving before breakfast our last morning. Every single staff we interacted with was warm, friendly, and helpful. We got the Aurora wakeup call and got some amazing pics from our balcony. Everything was perfect. Will definitely stay again when we return to Iceland.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Would definitely choose it again. I did a lot of research and glad we stayed with this Kea hotel. Also stayed at their Reykjavik Sands hotel and equally pleased. We enjoyed the breakfast, great location for the golden circle. We stayed 2 days and this was a great "base station". Close to the Kerio crater too. Staff very nice. Went into Selfoss for dinner at Froken Selfoss (frokenselfoss.is) upon a recommendation by the front desk staff and it was excellent. Just prepare for pricey everything in Iceland.

Very comfortable rooms, nice and specious with super comfortable beds. The breakfast is great! The didn't clean our rooms although we have specifically asked. They gave us some free drinks to compensate and fresh towels. We stayed for only two nights at the golden circle.

When I walked into the room I felt like I just got married. It was so cool! It even had a privet hot tub outside where I could watch the aurora playing in the sky. The bed was royal af. All types of pillows, cozy duvet and like a 55" TV. Not something I usually see at hotels. ||||The restaurant and the fireplace lounge gives the cozy-lux vibes 100%.
