Had a fantastic break, Staff were really helpful and very friendly, the food is great. The hotel is ideally located for the Golden Circle and the rooms are beautiful. Enjoyed the private hot tub and were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights from the patio. Overall great people and a great hotel, Thank you we will return!

Outstanding hotel. First night we were there, we got lucky to see the Northern Lights. This is a must see in a lifetime. Set up of the hotel was great. The room was outstanding. At the back of our building, there was a a jot tube. We'll worth the plunge after a long drive or walking all day.||Breakfast is apart of the stay. All you can eat buffet. Delicious. Dinner was also phenomenal.||Hotel and restaurant staff were amazing. We'll worth the stay and would visit again, if we come back to Iceland 🇮🇸.

Beautiful hotel with near the national reservation. Hotel is cosy, it feels more like a holiday colony than a hotel rooms feel seperated so you don't feel crowded. Breakfast was great. My only suggestion would be walkin showers foe the rooms we had a showerbath combo. With some luck you can watch the nothernlights in a very clean jaccuzi.

My daughterand I stay here for four days 3 nights the end of November.|The staff were all so warm and welcoming which was not at all false. They were so helpful and full of information.|The room spotless warm and the best bed and pillows I have ever slept in on holiday.|The evening meal we expected to be highly priced and was in line with our expectations if you don't research it will seem expensive.|A fantastic place to see the northern lights and they do let you know when they appear.|The hotel is ideal for visiting the Southern part of the island with easy to follow routes.|I just loved this place and planning our next visit.|Thank you all for an amazing stay.

We stayed two nights at this hotel. Unfortunately, we couldn't see Northern lights but really enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and comfortable, restaurant serves nice food. The best thing is the hospitality of the people of the hotel. Our stay at the hotel was absolutely memorable event of Christmas 2025.

Very comfortable rooms, nice and specious with super comfortable beds. The breakfast is great! The didn't clean our rooms although we have specifically asked. They gave us some free drinks to compensate and fresh towels. We stayed for only two nights at the golden circle.

Very well located for the Golden Circle. We had a Superior room which is arranged around a communal dining area and 2 excellent outdoor hot tubs. The whole complex seems like it is fairly new and is very nicely built, with small buildings spread around a central reception / restaurant. It feels clean, modern and stylish. Service was also very good and the restaurant selection for breakfast was great.

At first I was disappointed it was so far from actual Selfoss but the views at night of the Northern lights made up for that…it’s not in Selfoss it’s about 20 minutes away. So I wanted a place more to walk around and grab dinner and coffee since we would be staying in more rural Vik and Hella. This is all by itself but the accommodations are beautiful - we had a suite so there was a heated gas fire place that was so nice in the chilly evening. Then it was so clear we drove just down the street and parked at a power station pull off and got some amazing shots of the northern lights. They were the best we saw while in Iceland.
