The place is right next to and facing a road with lot of traffic, and the location is not the nicest. Many rooms face a silent back alley. Room is clean with nice toilet. Helpful people in the reception.|The beds have hard spring matress. I didnt sleep well|

Lovely situated modern hotel with a style. Staff working there is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. The food served in the restaurant is very tasty, Polish and made with passion. The price for the room included breakfast which is delicious...cannot be missed, all regional, fresh products. You can count on advice about walks around the town, places worth seeing, good places to eat and hang out. Very happy with our stay. And, most important, it is a pet friendly hotel. Highly recommending. Definitely will be back once we are again in Malbork.

We stayed in the apartment on the top floor offered by Hotel Grot.||The location is very good, at walking distance from Malbork's attractions. It's good that you also have the option for underground parking place (however extra paid). Restaurant serves pretty good food at reasonable price.||The apartment wasn't clean at all except the bed linen which was fresh. Both the bathroom and the room was full of dust and dirt on the floor. We even found some socks under the bed (probably lost by the previous guests). The walls need some fresh paint. The bed was extremely uncomfortable due to worn mattress.||||For the price we paid I expect higher level of comfort especially that the hotel and restaurant look pretty nice. Maybe just the apartments are the problem...

Super fresh food! The first time in a while I didn't have frozen onion rings. Polish dishes in a simple and delicious way. Totally recommend.

Very nice staff. The hotel is very clean. My rom was well supplied: bottled water, shoe cleaning kit, sewing kit, refrigerator, TV, bible,... the hotel is conveniently located (close to the castle and the rail station). Did I mention fresh coffee all day long?

My experience in this hotel was excellent from my arrival to my departure. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was very pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. I could walk to Malbork castle (Marienburg). The hotel allowed me to keep my bike in the room. My impression was that there were not many hotels in Malbork, so I was very happy to find this place.

Very new hotel in quiet town of Malbork. My room was oddly shaped, and dingy, but warm & comfortable. Restaurant was fine, food nice and free breakfasts hot or cold. Bar was OK with friendly barman, and reasonable prices at about 9 zloty for a beer. Lacks a lounge, separate from restaurant. Handy underground parking. I recommend The Grot, which I chose for its name alone ! ( UK joke :-).

The service was ok, but the room was dirty, the bathroom was tiny and we had to listen to drunks swearing outside early in the morning. The restaurant had the chef missing and the chocolate and creme brule were not what they were supposed to be. They were both starch based puddings. Aside from that, there is nothing in malbork to do after you see the castle, so don't bother staying overnight.
