Sadly it did not meet our expectations. The room was not in good condition, jacuzzi/bath didn't work, issues with hot water, insufficient bedding, ridiculously noisy and breakfast was terrible. The airport shuttle service is not through the hotel its a service on the side. Ive stayed in better hostels vs this, it was very disappointing. However, it does have a great view and in the heart of the centre although its a tiny town so anywhere you stay is close.

Don't stay. There are better stays for a cheaper price in Guatape. I had two rooms and I have to say I'm very picky with cleanliness, both rooms had hair on the toilets and hair in the bathroom overall... huge ick. Not only can you hear everything from outside/inside the hotel, but in the third floor you can smell the smoke from cooking and hear the loud music from the restaurant on the top floor. Additionally, my second room smells mustyyy. No refunds which is sort of a scam because in periods of high demand in which the town is full if somebody leaves dissatisfied they rearrange the room and immediately give it to a new guest. I saw multiple people complaining and leaving the hotel so that's a lot of nonrefundable money the hotel stays with. The staff has been dismissive because I paid 120k per night (which the locals consider a lot anyways).

Location - Amazing, right at the town square, just 50 metres from the bus station, shops, river all right next to it. ||Room - Small, average but worth it for the price||Breakfast - decent, the person serving was super sweet. ||Reception - The guy was too distracted, not just while he was with us, but throughout the day.

Good place it's very centralized you just have to be accustomed to hearing a bit of noise or footsteps but all in all it's a pretty good location to be able to pretty much be a part of everything

I just stayed here last night, friendly staff, the room was clean, everything worked in the room, comfortable bed, yes there certainly is some street noise/music and stuff but the location is great being in the Guatape main plaza and reasonably priced, I would stay again on my next visit.

This was one of the worst hotels we have stayed at in Columbia. There are so many hotels in this area. Pick another one and save your self the hassle. We reserved three nights and only stayed because we could not get a refund. From the beginning the hotel staff was unfriendly greeting us, as if we were an inconvenience. Often times staff members had a friend hanging out with them at the front desk (or on a personal call), we would walk up to ask a question and they would ignore us for five minutes before begrudgingly acknowledging us. Not very friendly. The rooms were “clean” but the whole building is very poorly designed. We were on the third floor and you could hear people talking on the first floor. There was constant noise and music playing all night. The biggest reason is the “windows” don’t really close and seal, so you could hear people in the hallway as if they were standing next to you. When checking-in they had us sign a rule sheet listing a set of rules to follow including quiet hours and a general statement to treat their towels and sheets nicely. At checkout they had us wait downstairs while they gathered our sheets and then demanded the towels were too dirty. We said they were like that when we arrived, but they insisted we had eaten in the room and ruined them. We didn’t. When we tried to explain, they just started talking over us and basically bullied us into paying to replace the towel. I admit, we should of said something earlier, but given our poor interactions with them, we decided not to. We have been in Colombia for over a month and have had zero problems before this. To top it off, the wifi was terrible at all times of the day. It was constantly disconnecting and I couldn’t even make a simple call. The one good thing I can say is the restaurant staff were always nice at breakfast and the view from the restaurant was beautiful.

Customer service was outstanding. You have to ask questions to ensure you experience the best of the hotel. They have a spa area unless we had asked we wouldn't have known. The rooms were nice bed was comfy and the restrooms were well kept. One small issue I had but not enough to remove a star was the television reception. Depending which unit you stay at you might have to deal with the music from the local bars.

The hotel had tiny rooms and tiny beds, there was also an unnecessary table and chairs which took up space. They provide additional toiletries which is a nice touch and the staff were lovely||Fresh coffee always hot and kettle for herbal teas etc was available in the reception area||We had a HUGE double Jacuzzi bath with a shower, which sadly soaked everywhere and made our nightwear and washbags very wet and leaked into bedroom floor.||The biggest problem was it was so noisy – dogs/cars/drag racing – on the corner of the square the hotel is used as the start of as circuit for speeding cars with revving engines.||The hotel also has single glazing which does not help prevent noise affecting sleep||The breakfast was average – pre arranged plate of fruit, eggs cooked to order with coffee and juice, no breads or pastries but it was adequate
