Hotel Gut Bardenhagen

We stayed 2 night which was a very wonderful holiday for us at this hotel !!||We had a warm greating by the staff. We were showed to our room, which was VERY nice. Big and full of light. View to green fields. We had everything that you could ask for. Fantastic deco of room and the whole hotel.||Placed lovely at the country side and near by forest. ||Luneburg is only a 15 min. driv and its a city with beautiful old buildings and great restaurant. ||The breakfast at the hotel had all that you could want. Ofcourse a standard breakfast table, but the usual buffet eggs and becon was not there, but even better the waiters come and ask what you would like and make it straight away. Lovely. Good tea brands and nice bread.||We had 4 course evening meal at the restaurant. ||Lovely room, lighting was plesent, good feeling here and interesting deco as rest of the hotel and rooms. The hotel had most of the furniters for sale in a showroom next to the restaurant room.||The dishes was new thinking - great quality, presentet and amazing tast. 5 stars for the chefs and rest of the staff!!! We left full and happy. A very positiv expirience.||Smiling, down to earth and warm waiters. ||The wellness part of the hotel was small but had the facilitets you would mostly use.||||We will come here again and already told family and friends of GUT Bardenhagen hotel.

Modern and classic in a well dosed mix, beautiful furnished with accessories from all over the world: You can really feel the lucky hand and good taste of the owners and room designers. If you look at the walls in the main building, you may follow the rebuilding of the old stable and its metamorphosis to a suitable ambient, well documented in a line of pictures.||There are several rooms and guesthouses for every goût, from modern to traditional, small to big, and some with a very individual fittings. These houses are lying on a terrain, with a big parking place on one side, on the other side a wonderful pleasure garden with old trees and Laubengängen, ponds and hedges, where you may sit and have a coffee or dinner on summer evenings.||The service is very friendly and helpful, with a natural honest kindness. There a two restaurants, of which one is a gourmet.||We had a degustations menu: you were served 3 plates à 4, that means four appetizer, four main courses and four desserts. These are small versions of menus of the seasonally changing list. It was delicious and not so expensive.||We loved the whole concept, so meanwhile we´ve been there several times...||Thumbs up!!

Its a quiet and peaceful place for relaxing and spending time out of the city. Just about 1, hours by car from Hamburg.||The Hotel itself very special with its design and decoration. From the first step into the room you may see many natural features like wall pictures, lights, bathroom details and so on.||Our suite had even a fire place which I am sure may your stay there in cold times very cozy.||The Hotel has very good wellness spa area. If you are lucky enough to come there during the week you may have this area for yourself as a private since there are usually few guests during the week days.||Dining there is good, but if you dont speak English be ready to have your translator or check the Hotel site with the restaurant page with menu in English. They also have some special events at the Hotel's restaurant such as music, culinary and etc.||All in all I would definitely visited this place again and recommend it for those who is seeking deep relax and tranquility

We stayed at Gut Bardenhagen a long weekend, and what a nice surprise. The old farm has been completely renovated, and it is situated in a forest just south of Lüneburg.||The rooms and the main house were beautiful designed. The dinner restaurant was also inside the main house. The food was excellent.||The spa area was small, but sufficient and the kids loved playing in the pool. ||During the day, we visited Lüneburg, which is a old cozy city, with many nice restaurants and bars.

Just half an hour south of the beautiful medieval city of Lüneburg lies this tranquil resort. It is surrounded by forests and very small villages in the country side of Lower Saxony. Location, food, service, everything is great. Perfect getaway to relax from the hustle and bustle of big cities.

Very nice place, really friendly people, very confortable room. I arrive late, restaurant normally was already closed, but the prepared a small dinner for me. Really very kind and nice. I recommend this hotel and restaurant. I have to come back for a good dinner.

Great hotel, in kind of it’s own town. Delicious breakfast. Great spa with pool and sauna.
