Excellent location. Just walking distance to all the places that we would like to see while In Strasbourg. Very polite and mindful staff.Love the rustic looking attic room. Simple but elegant. Room was clean as well as the toilet. I can’t ask more. Definitely will come back.

Staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and the one we were in was quite large for a city central location. Hotel itself was lovely and the location could not have been better for the Christmas markets. Beautiful

When booking hotel, I had a little problem as Irish bank cards 3 digit could not be inputted to hold room, and Emma and Julia and Melie were so helpful assisting me with my bank transfer of pre pay first night. We were lucky that we were able to avail of early check in on 28 July at an extra charge. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Massimo and Emma, and they were so helpful recommending restaurants which were Gluten free friendly for my daughter. We were delighted to be be given an upgrade and a delicious bottle of Cremant for our 3 nights.|The Hotel is located in such a wonderful locatione, minutes from everywhere. We found this so convenient to drop back any purchases and not have to carry them around all day. Everytime we passed reception, staff always had a hello and a smile. The staff here are really total gems.|Bathrobes and slippers are supplied with lovely Nuxe products.|Bed was comfortable and room spotless clean, and cleaning ladies very efficient.|Breakfast was small, but had everything and was delicious and fresh. Added bonus was the most delicious Gluten Free bread freshly delivered from bakery daily for my daughter. My daughter said it is the best gluten free bread, she has ever had.|I would highly recommend Hotel Gutenberg, and I will definately be returning again.|Thank you Julia, Massimo, Emma and Melie again for a wonderful stay. The rooms were small and unremarkable. The onsite staff was friendly, but if you ever have a family emergency, don’t rely on this place to refund your booking, even if we were in the cancellation period. They claimed I was a day late to cancel, despite being in the US and canceling on time. This hotel needs to understand that people seek flexible accommodations for a reason. I suggest staying elsewhere, like Maison Rouge down the street, which is much nicer and more understanding. Edit: the team did reach out to me and we were able to cancel due to family emergency. Thank you for your support during this time.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is great, and extremely walkable. Our party had two rooms- one standard, and one on the top floor which was a little cheaper. The standard room was great, with a lot of space, nice windows, and a great view! The top floor room was perfectly nice, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone who is tall. The bathroom is up a set of wooden stairs in a loft style area, and anyone over 5'9" is going to have to spend a lot of time hunched over. I would definitely come back to the standard room in this hotel!

Not knowing the area, it was difficult trying to pick a hotel. We are very happy with our choice of staying here. Great location at Place Gutenberg, very close to the cathedral, restaurants, etc. You could see the top of the cathedral from our window. There were reviews that stated it was noisy, which turned out to be before new windows were installed. Although the street below was busy, we did not hear anything. The bed was comfortable. We would stay here again.

The location was perfect. We could reach almost everything we wanted to see within a 10 minute walk. We were a block from the Cathedral, 2 doors from Place Gutenberg, etc. Rooms were spacious, and bathrooms were roomy. The hotel was very clean. The only downside was our room faced out on an alley that apparently had a club, and the noise from the club continued all night long. We used ear plugs, but that is uncomfortable.

Great location. All the main spots are in a walking distance. Room was comfortable, however the bathroom was a bit of a challenge, small and the ceiling was pretty low (if you are 1,80m tall you will bump your head). The toilet had almost no privacy from the bedroom even though when the door was closed. Breakfast was great and the staff was really friendly.

i typically use a friend's flat when in Strasbourg but have stayed twice in this hotel in the center of old town, just steps from the 15th century Cathédrale Notre-Dame. a great combination of affordability, service and excellent accomodations. newly renovated, you have a choice between classic or contemporary design suites. they'll even let you inspect the rooms and choose! buffet breakfast is a treat, staff friendly and helpful. and everything is just a short walk away. a brilliant choice.

Excellent location. Newly re-decorated with 4-ply Windows so absolutely quiet while being in center-city. Full continental breakfast and very welcoming main desk staff. Priced quite reasonably. A steal!
