We booked this hotel from recommendation, and I am so glad we did!! We stayed in the “annex” and from other reviews I was nervous but it was a lovely stay! The room was spacious, had two balcony’s, a fan and AC. The breakfast was AMAZING, so fresh and the staff is very friendly. I also like how close to the beach/swimming the hotel is. It is right on the coast and just a couple minutes walk to a few popular swimming areas. They let you drop your bags early, and have a late check out. Would recommend to anyone staying in Ortigia!

Comfortable hotel across several buildings along the sea. Great location, close to the market and swimming beach. Good restaurant, breakfast buffet. Comfortable and clean rooms with AC, a nice upper deck overlooking the sea. Staff is helpful and efficient.

I loved this hotel. Shabby chic at its best. Staff were friendly. The breakfast was lovely. The room was comfortable. We had a room with a sea view which was in a perfect position to watch the sun rise. (Picture provided). When I return to Siracusa I will 100% go back to this hotel. This hotel offers great value for money

We had a wonderful 2-night stay, and would happily come back the next time our travels take us to Ortigia. The rooms are simple, but very comfortable. If you’re an American, you’ll likely find the air conditioning weak, but it’s enough to keep the room comfortable when it’s too hot to have the windows open to let in the sea breeze. We booked a superior double room with a sea view, our room didn’t directly face the sea, but it was visible from our 2 balconies. The location is terrific, close to the ancient market and access to the sea for swimming. We parked at Parcheggio Talete which is a short walk, and we were able to leave our luggage at the front desk when we arrived early for check-in. Staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast each morning was light, healthy, and delicious. Lastly, we read some reviews warning about the annex, however, we couldn’t have been happier with our stay in the annex building. So have no fear, the hotel is lovely.

Charming stay just outside the busy center of Ortigia We had a very nice room. We didn’t choose the upgraded view option, so we knew what to expect — no disappointments there. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The reception was extremely friendly. Without even asking, we were given plenty of helpful information about Ortigia and what to see and do in the area — a really thoughtful touch. Breakfast was good and felt authentic, with a nice local selection. The location was also ideal for us. We didn’t want to stay right in the heart of the old town, and this turned out to be the perfect choice — central, but peaceful. The restaurant was closed on that day, so we didn’t have a chance to try it for the dinner. Just note: the hotel doesn’t have its own parking. You can park in nearby public spaces and pay easily using the EasyPark app. Avoid parking directly on the hotel’s street — it’s reserved for residents only. Overall, a great stay with a warm atmosphere and excellent service.

We stayed in a plus ocean room. We reserved hotel because it said there was air conditioning. Well they dont turn it on until summer. It was an average of 24c and the room was hot. When we opened windows at night the noise from garbage trucks and vehicles was terrible. As well light came in all night. The breakfast not the best. As soon as fruit was put out it was devoured and we had to order our own coffee at bar. Would not recommend this place for 180E a night!!

Simple luxury. Both our rooms had bathtub and one room had two balconies and city view as well as sea view from the balcony. Very good breakfast buffet! All staff were incredibly helpful! Best atmosphere and highly recommended!

Positives: - friendly and helpful staff. - good location, everything in Ortigia is walkable. - large, comfortable bed. - interesting and atmospheric old building. Negatives: - room decor was tired. - bathroom needs a deep clean - shower and tiles are dirty. - bathroom smelled of the drains. - shower temperature wasn’t consistent. - limited parking. We had a cheaper room, perhaps the more expensive rooms are better.
