Hotel Haberstock

Very central hotel only a few metres from the train station. Clean and comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast!! Very helpful and friendly staff. We stayed 2 nights then went cycling down the Rhine for a month and they kindly stored our suitcase for us at no charge even though we only stayed the 2 nights there before we left for our cycling trip. Would definitely stay again!!

Great location there's a station right next to the hotel. The room was broad and the bed comfortable. Great breakfast and the person in the restaurant area really helpful and nice too. Dorothy from front desk was really nice and helpful, she even spoke to us in a little spanish. I would definitely stay there again.

Location of this hotel is great. Right smack dab in the transport hub of Munich. We spent here a couple of nights and were treated nicely by the staff. Props to the front desk team always helpful and polite. Rooms are clean and rather newly refurbished. The neighborhood may seem dangerous but it's safe. Breakfast always nice and orders can be placed on the spot: fried eggs, omelets. Will stay here again

I've stayed at this hotel a good number of times. The location to the Munich hauptbahnhof is perfect, and the price is budget friendly. The hotel and rooms are very clean. The staff are helpful. Breakfast is great. The neighborhood/streets around the hotel are lively and have adult activities. Great for business travel and for people without children.

Fairly basic hotel but it has reasonably sized rooms for a three star. Unfortunately the rooms are not well sound insulated from the street so early morning cleaning and rubbish collection is problematic. The breakfast was very basic and frankly not up to the standard of other places.

Room was rather small but clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located very close to Munich main station and the Deutsches Theater. The neighbourhood is quite loud in the evening. Breakfast is nice and very affordable.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The price was a great value for the location and size of the room. Super convenient right by the train station and U-bahn/S-bahn/tram stations. Neighborhood totally fine and I felt safe at all times. Easy to walk from hotel to Marienplatz and other areas. Also very clean, with excellent service. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. It's not fancy, but perfectly suitable for a short stay in Munich. Would totally stay here again, especially if traveling by train.

Wonderful hotel very close to central station and Marienplatz. Staff is sooo friendly and accommodating. Wonderful breakfast every morning. Room was large and comfortable. Nice mini bar in room with fair prices. Highly recommend!!

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in early October 2016. Given what I saw, I am very unlikely to stay here ever again. 1. The biggest downside of the property is its location. There is a bar and strip club right opposite the hotel and that makes for a somewhat unsavory experience. My wife reported waking up on at least one of the two nights because of people leaving the bar noisily in the middle of the night. One can also tell that this is not a great area by the number of panhandlers (beggars), the "shady" businesses (think pawn shops in the U.S.), and the lack of nice sit-down restaurants in close proximity of the hotel. 2. The hotel is also quite old and its age shows in many things including the quality of floors in the lobby and the breakfast area which look completely beaten down. The elevator is also quite slow and we were surprised by how tiny it was. 3. Although they claimed to have free wi-fi, the wi-fi was slow and unreliable. The hotel does have some positives too. 1. It is very close to the main train station - Hauptbahnhof. If you leave through the correct exit, it will literally take you less than 2 minutes to get to the hotel. 2. The staff was generally quite helpful. We particularly liked the fact that they let us check in at around 10:30 a.m. when our flight from the U.S. landed. That enabled us to sleep for a few hours before going out and touring the city. For that accommodation, we are quite grateful.
