We have stayed at this hotel twice, thirteen years apart, and it is still a favourite. It is a unique experience with its beautiful courtyard, amazing architecture and bits of history everywhere you look. The rooms are very clean and comfortable - the beds are a bit hard but we found that in most hotels we stayed in. The pool area is so beautiful and peaceful. The location is a short walk to the square and many nice places to eat. Highly recommend.

We stayed for just one night, and wished we'd stayed longer. The hotel is a couple of blocks from the town plaza; it serves breakfast (included) and is an old hacienda style. Lots of history. Reception was smooth as was buying beer from the cooler. The room, #14, was very comfortable and very clean. Can recommend it. Has a nice garden and outdoor pool.

Spent a week at Hacienda Flamingos. Definitely not a cookie-cutter, chain hotel! Unique hacienda with antiques and items of interest displayed throughout the building. Gardens and Tropical Courtyard were beautiful. Our room faced the interior courtyard so we had no street noise at all. Room was on the small side, but the decor and ambience were charming. King bed was comfortable, a/c worked well, large shower with great pressure and lots of hot water. Wi-fi was spotty and did not work well in our room. Unheated pool was nice but too cold to enjoy in December. Within a couple blocks of the town square, restaurants and shops, and perhaps a kilometer to the beach (just a guess!) On days we felt too lazy to walk we caught a cab from the town square (about $3). Beach is beautifully clean and unpopulated with several little cantinas for snacks and drinks. Perfect for a quiet, laid-back vacation.

It looks like the best hotel in town, having walked around this small town during our stay. ||The hotel staff are friendly in a basic kind of way, but I'm personally not into that over-the-top in-your-face fake hospitality that is widespread in the USA. So for me it's fine. I speak Spanish too, so had no problems.||The haciendo is an extremely charming place, love the eccentric decor and random pieces of art everywhere. The courtyard and fountain are lovely, the small pool looked inviting too, especially with the heat here.||Yes there are mosquitoes everywhere, and even with jungle grade protection applied 4 times a day, I still have many bites.||We only got wifi in reception, unfortunately it doesn't get to the rooms, but I didn't come here to spend my time on social media....||The rooms are lovely, and the bed is perfectly hard for me, two lovely nights of sleep. Yes, I had to get up at night (at the behest of the good wife) to switch on, then off, then on the air conditioning, but I've had to do that everywhere in this part of Mexico.||Clean, comfortable and charming place.||The town itself has some character, the two churches are interesting. The plaza was basic, but busy in the early evening.|There are a few great restaurants nearby, and we so went to Las islitas beach, and the local tovara tour.

Very old Hacienda converted into a modern hotel with a historic theme. Very friendly service and we'll maintained inner court and pool area. Great place to relax and is located only two blocks from town's central plaza and one block from tourist wharf where you can get sight seeing and whale watching boats at very reasonable prices! In my opinion it's the best hotel in this seaport village. Also the price is very reasonable.

One of the most relaxing, and well maintained hotels I have ever stayed in. Very traditional and elegant Mexican hotel. Nice room, great courtyard, very nice breakfast as well. (As seems to be the case in these more traditional hotels, beds are a little firmer than I prefer.)

This is one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed at in Mexico, and we've been coming to Mexico every year for 20 years. The architecture, the history, our hotel room & patio, the inner courtyard, the swimming pool, the outside landscaping, and the 200+ year old church.... Everything was amazing! ||We will be back again next year for sure!

I have been comming to San Blas since I was 8 years old. I have always loved this town.|When I first stayed at Los Flamingos ($2.00 per night) it was fine. Now it is a magnifient museum. Great comfortable rooms, incrediable tropical wood everywhere. No other place can compare in San Blas..
