Right when you calm you get welcomed by friendly bilingual staff you get welcomed with a welcome shot made out of their vodka that’s from cane sugar, as well as basil, lime, and pineapple juice. What a way to say welcome. The rooms were so clean the sheets in the blanket were comfortable and soft. The food in every restaurant was delicious and fresh. It is a kid friendly hotel so there are a lot of families and it also is an adventure center so there are a lot of people coming from other resorts and hotels. If you stay at the hotel, they offer transportation from the airport and they also offer transportation back to the airport when you leave all the activities were so amazing with so many Workers to support you so that you feel safe. It was such a lovely experience. We did every activity to do inside the hotel. The only thing we didn’t try was horseback riding which people said was a bit uncomfortable. We ate at the restaurant downstairs who served us at tomahawk steak two appetizers, four sides and two desserts for just $80. It was the best steak I have ever had in my life along with the delicious pizza where everything is gluten-free and the dessert was so delicious of vanilla flan that absolutely melt in your mouth. We ordered it multiple times definitely a place to come back with family and friends.

One the plus: - Perfect location - nearby activities are included and shuttle bus also - lots of activities - rooms are nice - staff mostly friendly On the negative - the food! Breakfast is OK Neither of the two restaurants offer good food, however. Vegetables were completely burnt, kids' chicken fingers soaked in oil and no salt at all. Burger below average, and so on Pizza was pretty good though - room doors are simply on thin layer of wood, why? - the zip line tour was really worrying!! Nothing happened, but our group was about 50 people, and all were rushed through the course. Staff was clearly not able to focus on safety. All the time, two people were on the same line. Platforms were stacked with people. Staff had to constantly rush. Again, nothing happened, and it was fun, but I only wonder when... They should just limit the number of people per tour and focus on quality over quantity. The same goes for the Tubing, which was fun too but again like 50 or 60 people.

Our family of 5 (2 older teenagers + 1 ten yr old) stayed here on our first night in Costa Rica. We arrived at Liberia airport at 1:30 in the afternoon and after getting our rental car, driving to airport, checking in and finding our room etc … we were in the hot springs by 4 PM! And they were incredible. Far exceeded our expectations - including the teenagers - and was a great end to a day of travel. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant. And we were asleep by 9 PM and up early the next morning. Breakfast which was included was a large buffet, wonderful coffee, outdoor setting. We then drove 10 min up the road to the entrance of the national park where we did a small 3.2 KM hike that took 120 min given all there was to see on the hike. Then we went back to hotel, changed into suits, checked out and went to one of their onsite hikes/waterfalls - which was so easy and incredible. Then we had a quick lunch in the cafe before heading to Tamarindo for the rest of our stay. The staff were perfect in every way. Incredibly clean rooms. Everyone was happy. Great start to our trip.

This was a great hotel. You can access the thermal pools with your hotel stay (loved) and there are a few short hikes that worked for our family (kids aged 6.5 and 2.5). Families with older kids will find plenty to do in three days. Our room was large and clean and there was no problem getting a crib (now did the little one use it? no.) My older daughter and I went canopying in the afternoon (which is when most people expect rain) and we had a completely private experience. It was fantastic. Food was good, and reasonably priced. I loved listening to the birds here. If you're looking for a little adventure and a lot of tranquility, book this hotel.

Didn't stay in a room but did the full day adventure experience. I expected it to be good, given the reviews, but was still surprised at what a top-notch operation it was. Great experience all the way through. Like most ziplines, I do wish there were a moment here and there to stop and take in the scenery (it's really efficient) but overall, a fantastic day.

No words can describe how perfect this place is! We went for an hike to Rincon National Park and on our returned decided to book a 2 night stay at this property. We are sooo happy we did as this was the highlight of all the Guanacaste and liberia region! ||1. Staff : AMAZING, friendly & attentive;||2. Accommodations/amenities: are clean, beautiful, pool and jacuzzi, sunset view, all a huge plus. So many different types of rooms, from more rustic to modern to glamping! ||3. Food is great, tasty, fresh (most of it comes directly (if not all) from their land) and diversified, food is also really cheap for an hotel that has a monopole in the region. Also great deals in the happy hour for drinks!! + amazing breakfast each morning included in your stay.||4. Activities: all the activities you would do in tours, are included with the hotel stay, 4 waterfalls (and more), ponds, hot springs, trails, hike, visit the farm, etc. trails are clean, well indicated, staff at each location for safety with toilets, changing rooms, towels, etc. this was a huuuge highlight for us! You can also book all type of tour directly with the hotel or do them by yourself (for no extra cost!!).||In summary, if you wish to visit the Rincon National Park it is a no brainer that you should book at least 2 nights stay here. We will definitely be back!!||I never leave review after my stay, but this one needed to be done! ||Thanks for having us :)

After spending previous nights in small, rural lodging, I wasn't sure how I would like the large scale property at Gauchipelin. However, I was pleasantly surprised. From the clean, comfortable room that provided a good night's sleep to the delicious buffet breakfast, and all the activities offered in between, my stay was a true delight! I particularly enjoyed the hot springs, horseback ride, and tubing experiences. In my opinion, this resort is a solid, convenient option for families and groups looking for soft adventure in a beautiful setting.

We stayed one night at Hotel Hacienda Guachipelín, mostly to do the Adventure Tour, and had a great experience. The grounds are absolutely beautiful — lush and spacious with all kinds of trees, including gorgeous rainbow eucalyptus trees. At one point, a mango even fell out of a tree right near us, which gave us a good laugh! There were plenty of iguanas and birds around (not sure what kind, but they added to the charm). Our room was comfortable and clean, and we only wish we’d had more time to explore the property. The restaurant was very nice with good food, and the drinks were great too. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The pool and hot tub looked well-maintained and inviting, though we unfortunately didn’t have a chance to take a dip. Overall, it was a lovely short stay. Next time, we’d definitely plan to stay longer to take full advantage of the grounds and all the amenities! Sorry, I forgot to get photos of the actual room, but here's some of the grounds 🤦‍♀️
