Hotel Hacienda Trinidad

The rooms are nice and very functional. The pool is great and grounds are very pleasant and clean. The restaurant indoor is decorated very nice as well as the poolside eating area is wonderful. But the best thing about Hotel Trinidad is the food! I have tried many restaurants but have never had the consistent magical tastes from any dish they offer, including the drinks! Whoever is cooking back there knows what they are doing and they do it very, very well! The beach front is nice and we walked the beach daily to the left and the right. I very much enjoyed this hotel. It was amazing and quiet. If you are looking for a party scene that was not happening, at least in June when we were there. But the food! OMG!

Visited the very small beach town of San Juan de Alima in July. It is the low season and my Standard room costs about $1520 pesos a night (approx. $80). I stayed on the 2nd floor-stairs only. The room was nice. It had AC and a TV. The bathroom was nicely decorated and very functional. My room had a shower but you can upgrade to a room with a shower and a Jacuzzi. Ok, so the room was nice now onto my review of the grounds. They have a restaurant..it is dark and hot..not inviting at all. The grounds are nice and the pool is nice. But..there is NO beachfront! It is just a pile of rocks..so no walking on the beach. The restaurant sign stated they opened at 8:30 but I was still waiting at 9:45 for it to open so I could get my morning coffee. I walked around the grounds and I saw maybe 4 guests but no staff at this time of the morning. For the prices they charge I would think they staff would be there on time and eager to serve the hotel guests. Too bad for this business as I walked down the street to another hotel (look for my review of El Parador Hotel) to get my breakfast and coffee. I want to finish this review by saying I saw what the other smaller, unpretentious hotel offered and I checked out as soon as I had my breakfast and checked in at El Parador Hotel down the street. Yes, this hotel might be the "prettiest" and most expensive on the strip but it is just that..looks. No hospitality, not welcoming, hot, and dark,,AND no beach front.

Had a great time here. The beach is great water is warm. Food was great as well. For the price it would be nice if they could extend the wifi to the rooms as well instead of just the lobby and bar area.

Nice rooms with jacuzzi and beach! The only bad thing is that the WiFi didn’t reach the rooms and we had to go to the restaurant part to be able to access the internet since their is no signal at all there. Other than that, I had a great time!!

Definitely the best spot in San Juan de Alima. The beach is very very nice. Very beautiful. Beware of the ocean. It can take you far away if you go to play with the waves.

I love this place, nice rooms, clean , best beach view cannot ask for anything else, hotel is kept very nice and clean, food is GREAT, and personal front desk and waitress are very nice EXCELLENT service, gracias

The rooms are outdated. Hotel staff are only nice to white people. I will never stay there again. The town seems dangerous

Perfect to get a close look at beach and enjoy the view, kidsnenjoyednthe pool for more then 4 hours hahaha thank u.
