Hotel Halm Konstanz

We’ve stayed at this hotel around 40 times, and every visit reminds us why we keep coming back. The staff always make us feel genuinely welcomed, as if we’re returning home. The service is consistently excellent, the rooms are comfortable and spotless, and the atmosphere is relaxing every single time.

We had a good stay here. Booked a junior suite for us and two kids - ended up having two connecting rooms and 1 big bathroom. Note that housekeeping comes to tidy every day but not an official clean for 3 days. The location is across from the train station and great. The front desk staff are super friendly. They provide delicious apples in the afternoon. Breakfast is not included and we paid one day for it - it was good but for a family of 4, not worth 80 euros. We also ate dinner at the lovely Moroccan restaurant one night. I would not consider the hotel luxury, but it also has nice character. Oh, and the air conditioning was greatly appreciated!

I recently had the pleasure to return to the Hotel Halm for a seven night stay. The hotel is conveniently located across from the train station. It is also a short walk to shopping, restaurants, ferries and the lakeside promenade. My room was located on the fourth floor with a lake view. It was a very quiet room with no noise from the street. My only complaint with my room was the dodgy WIFI connection. I had excellent fast WIFI everywhere else in the hotel except in my room. Perhaps a signal booster on the fourth floor would help. Otherwise, the room was spacious, updated and well appointed with the usual amenities. Housekeeping did a great job with daily service. I found the entire staff to be very friendly and accommodating, especially the front desk associates. The breakfast buffet was great, with a large selection to choose from, but I didn’t like that guests are expected to reserve a time for the breakfast buffet. When I’m on holiday, I don’t want to be on a schedule, especially for breakfast. I also enjoyed a delicious evening meal with friends in Le Marrakech and the food was excellent. I wanted to go back again but was disappointed that the restaurant was closed on Sunday evenings. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and I look forward staying there again on my next visit to Konstanz.

Comfortable hotel with classic style and one of the most beautiful restaurants. The hotel lobby and amenities are well kept and give a luxurious feel. Room was quiet and comfortable in traditional style. Could use some modern upgrades but nothing major.|All in all, a very enjoyable experience.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights for our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it! We arrived by train from the airport and were so relieved to see the hotel directly across the street (and no we did not experience any noise from the trains at all). The front desk staff was wonderful and attentive, and the rooms were so clean! We loved that the hotel was within walking distance of all major areas and attractions. 10/10 experience and would definitely stay here again!

Located vis-a-vis the train station thus hotel is very nice and a stressless zone of the old town of constance. Shops and other restaurants very closed to it. Own restaurant offering Maroccan specialities is highly recommended (please reserve in advance).. we will.be back there for sure very soon!

Very bad experience, travelling for work my teip waa shortened by 1 day, stay was 4 nights. I communicated to them more than 24hours before the last night, they said it is not possible to cancel. They say they had booked it already for me….for sure! But if you have a reservation you can cancel even at 6pm same day. No need to say everything was paid already and they would not refound. A real shame, will not come back.

We have been staying at Hotel Halm 2-3 times each year for the last 7 years, and we have never had a bad experience. The location is excellent (across from the Train Station), the rooms are always clean and comfortable, but most of all the front desk staff are always professional and pleasant.

Stay away from this place Overpriced and really nothing to show for the rates Single room is basically a regular room cut in half, turned into 2 single rooms. Free parking, you wish. €20.- for overnight parking in a close by parking garage. Any 4 Star luxury? Well wishful thinking in the single room. On the bright side, the staff is really nice and helpful. But it really didn't change my overall impression
