Hotel Hamatsu

I stayed here for just over a week on business. It is good standard but surprisingly with no wireless internet. Breakfast is a choice of a Japanese or continental set meal. This limited choice and quality is a drawback. Top floor has a great restaurant with teppanyaki, very nice. Staff is very friendly with a limited English.

The hotel is a bit old, but has a few nice restaurants and extremely attentive staff. I stayed in a twin room on the 6th floor and had no complaints. All in all a pleasant stay. If the price were a bit cheaper in the future I wouldn't mind staying here again.

The staff is nice, the hotel is good value for money but definitely needs refresh and larger rooms. Huge empty lobby. Location not so great if you are on foot, you need cab if you arrive from station.

We stayed here one night on the way back from Hokkaido to Tokyo. While not much English was spoken in this hotel (much like anywhere outside of Tokyo), the staff was very accommodating and gracious. The hotel room is decent sized for Japan and has a large bathroom. Everything was very clean and modern. The hotel is located up the road from JR Koriyama Station (about a 10 minute walk). There’s a 7-11 just up from the hotel and a couple of Lawson’s towards the station. I don’t think we’d ever need to stay in Koriyama again, but if we did, we’d certainly stay here again.

One of the nicest hotels in Koriyama. Good service, Spacious rooms & conference halls. Larger conference rooms have no windows though. Can prepare vegan meals if requested in advance. But check beforehand!

Went to a banquet for a professional event. Good to very good food, but that might not have anything to do with the hotel. Fancy entrance/foyer and standard Japanese event hall. Seemed expensive.
