Hotel Hanoi

Wonderful boutique hotel in a period house beautifully and very stylishly modernised to a very high standard. On a quiet street but within central Begur close walking distance to restaurants, bars etc and with wonderful views over the surrounding area. The hotel was spotlessly clean with beautiful furniture and furnishings including an extremely comfortable large double bed and high quality bedding. |We collected our key from the neighbouring sister hotel and were looked after by the receptionist Helen who was extremely friendly and helpful taking time to explain about the hotel’s facilities, recommending local restaurants and showing us our room. |High quality coffee is available free of charge at all times in the hotel.|Excellent shower, air conditioning and toiletry products. Everything worked perfectly and was of a very high quality.|Highly recommend this hotel and hope to return again soon.|Many thanks to the hotel for such an enjoyable 5 star stay.

We stayed at this hotel for a couple of days in June and it was perfect for what we needed. We arrived via car, there is a large affordable car park at the beginning of the street. Pros: The house is beautiful, and centrally located.The rooms and common areas are clean and well decorated. The self service coffee area was a nice touch. There was a lovely fragrance throughout the house (I'd love to know what it was). The Reception staff in the sister hotel were lovely, the girl that checked us in was really helpful and gave lots of recommendations. Cons: Air conditioning was a little outdated and not very effective, the room was very humid. There is no Reception, you have to check in at their sister hotel on the next street along. We don't mind this at all, but we weren't notified of how to check in and had to look at other reviews to figure it out. Some other guests in the hotel were really noisy and inconsiderate - not the hotels fault. The building is old and therefore noise echos and the doors are quite loud, so you have to be mindful. Overall it is beautiful, but low key, we have no issues with that, but might not suit guests who like a little more attention.

The room had a terrible smell of sewage, and the air conditioning was so loud that you had to choose between roasting or sleeping with your head under the pillow. We stayed in a top-floor room that had a loft area for the bed, but the stairs leading up to the loft felt unsafe. There were only two electrical outlets in the room, indicating a complete lack of attention to detail. Additionally, the front desk was located in a different hotel, and the staff there were neither helpful nor friendly. Given the price they charge, I would recommend finding a different hotel in Begur.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of April. Initially, we booked for 2 nights, but we liked it so much that we didn’t want to leave and ended up staying two more nights. The location is excellent. The rooms are beautiful, everything is very clean, and the pillows are comfortable. A big plus is the area on the ground floor where you can make coffee or tea and store your food in the fridge.

Good and clean hotel (3 locations close to each other) at Costa Brava.

This is a great hotel with a lot of charm.|The views of the town and distant mountains are lovely.|The breakfast is very good, it’s quite simple but perfect start to the day. Great bread, lovely cheese and meat, tasty pastry’s. Extremely good orange juice and coffee. Fresh fruit. The breakfast staff are very lovely.|Check in is at a different hotel but it was exceptional. Simone could not have been better. She gave us restaurant recommendations and every one was out of this world. Do ask her for advice as she knows Begur back to front and is a great resource for planning a perfect stay!|The only niggle is that whilst you know it’s a period / character property I didn’t like the fact the shower and basin are in the room and not partitioned off. Not great for privacy, and there was a drains smell in the room.

Room: very cold, left with a cold! Could not turn the AC stronger because it was too noisy Breakfast was in another hotel and I could never understand why the tomatoes were not washed , the sink was like the staff not all to use! P.S : interior photos are from the hotel where we had the breakfast

My husband and I stayed in the superior suite for 2x nights in May and had a lovely weekend in Begur & surrounding area. The hotel is super unique and charming with lovely tiling and design features that play into its asian theme. Breakfast and coffee were very good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The beds are big and comfy. You have to check in at their sister hotel up the street which is a bit confusing when you receive your confirmation but it's literally 10 steps away so it was really no trouble. Would definitely go back. A really special little place.
