Hotel Harder Minerva

Overpriced hotel. Old building, old furniture, wooden floor which was fine. Clean bathroom with hot and cold running water. Linen was clean. Front desk staff is indifferent. Location is good. Room AC provided in summer, which was effective. We got good views of snow covered mountains and para gliders.

Recently i visited this hotel, service was awesome, good size room,neat& clean,varities of breakfast options,great location from ost & west but more close to interlaken west station. Staffs are so humble & nice specially Esther she was so kind to us, will remember forever your help. Overall it is nice accommodation to stay, i strongly recommend this hotel

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Hotel Harder Minerva. We made reservations and paid in advance, so we were stuck with this hotel once we arrived. Unfortunately, it was a huge mistake. The room was filthy, with rubbish under the bed as i bended to grab something slipped of my hands, and the bathroom was in terrible condition—definitely not up to standard. It was clear that cleanliness is not a priority here. The food was subpar and far below expectations—nothing fresh or appetizing. To make matters worse, the lack of customer service. We were staying in late December, and it was quite cold. When we asked for an extra blanket or a heater, the staff responded by telling us to "hug each other to warm up," which was incredibly unprofessional and rude. The only positive thing was the view was nice. But this hotel is not worth the money. Poor cleanliness, bad food, and terrible customer service make it impossible to recommend. Avoid this place if you can.

Great location. Really enjoyed the breakfast. We could watch the paragliders from our room and it looks like they were going to fly right into the hotel.

So I came to Interlaken for 1 day. But it takes me nearly 14-15 hours to get to it and then back. It is important in this case. As I saw here 3 stars of 5, I was very worrying about everything at this hotel, but! My room (for 1 person) was good, hotel seems beautiful for me and the receptionist was cute. I was quite surprised with all I found out. But then happened today‘s breakfast. At the first sight everything seemed fine, I was there just at the beginning and could take all food I wanted. It was delicious. And when I was drinking some orange juice, I realised, that it wasn’t fresh. It was soured! I didn’t drink much, but now I have some stomach problems and no medicine for it😡 I am on my way home and it is difficult to deal with this problem right now. It could have been 5 stars, if everything had been OK with food. Please, take care of the food you offer! Digestion problems, like food poisoning I am having right now, are quite serious 😔

Spent 3 nights here. Room on top floor. Lift to level 3. Walk up by stairs to room. Very small room, super small wash room. Window is part of the side roof. Very unique. Open window to the sky. They serve good breakfast. Good location, walking distance to shops, restaurant, cafe & park. I guess for an expensive country like Swiss, this hotel is good value.

We were afraid when we saw all those negative comments but this hotel was fine, the rooms are clean and the Housekeeping team did a great job also the breakfast is generous and taste really good, it is true that you need to not be bothered by the hotpot smell in the evening. The only negative point is the Italian Receptionist who lack a bit of professionalism, saying out loud stuff like they can wait for one second when people are waiting for 5minutes in front of an empty desk , you can think this but should never say it, In a 5 stars hotel you would be fired over something like that .

Well I opted for Deluxe room • Firstly the rooms are very small especially the Washrooms. •The food which was offered in the breakfast was awful,with same and limited quantity •The thing Which I liked in the hotel is the lounge access,which was great 👍🏻,in they offer some quick bites free of cost. I met the owner,she was nice and helpful. Advice to the management,the girl who is at the reception in the morning,was very rude and full of attitude. Reception should be nice and friendly. If someone asks a simple question,you should answer properly,not by making awkward face.
