I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Hotel Harder Minerva. We made reservations and paid in advance, so we were stuck with this hotel once we arrived. Unfortunately, it was a huge mistake. The room was filthy, with rubbish under the bed as i bended to grab something slipped of my hands, and the bathroom was in terrible condition—definitely not up to standard. It was clear that cleanliness is not a priority here. The food was subpar and far below expectations—nothing fresh or appetizing. To make matters worse, the lack of customer service. We were staying in late December, and it was quite cold. When we asked for an extra blanket or a heater, the staff responded by telling us to "hug each other to warm up," which was incredibly unprofessional and rude. The only positive thing was the view was nice. But this hotel is not worth the money. Poor cleanliness, bad food, and terrible customer service make it impossible to recommend. Avoid this place if you can.

So I came to Interlaken for 1 day. But it takes me nearly 14-15 hours to get to it and then back. It is important in this case. As I saw here 3 stars of 5, I was very worrying about everything at this hotel, but! My room (for 1 person) was good, hotel seems beautiful for me and the receptionist was cute. I was quite surprised with all I found out. But then happened today‘s breakfast. At the first sight everything seemed fine, I was there just at the beginning and could take all food I wanted. It was delicious. And when I was drinking some orange juice, I realised, that it wasn’t fresh. It was soured! I didn’t drink much, but now I have some stomach problems and no medicine for it😡 I am on my way home and it is difficult to deal with this problem right now. It could have been 5 stars, if everything had been OK with food. Please, take care of the food you offer! Digestion problems, like food poisoning I am having right now, are quite serious 😔

We had low expectations with this hotel due to previous reviews. Upon arrival, we were a little disappointed that there wasn’t anyone in the reception until 3:01pm. Other than that, the room was a little dim, but clean and they do day cleaning and top up of room. There is a smart TV and water heater which were useful. Breakfast was average. We like that there is a pantry with free snacks for guests. The location was superb!

Well I opted for Deluxe room • Firstly the rooms are very small especially the Washrooms. •The food which was offered in the breakfast was awful,with same and limited quantity •The thing Which I liked in the hotel is the lounge access,which was great 👍🏻,in they offer some quick bites free of cost. I met the owner,she was nice and helpful. Advice to the management,the girl who is at the reception in the morning,was very rude and full of attitude. Reception should be nice and friendly. If someone asks a simple question,you should answer properly,not by making awkward face.

I went to this place 2 years ago but i didn’t think I captured how disgusting it was. We had to check out within a day of checking in. The pillows and the mattress were clumpy and very uncomfortable to sleep on. There was a gaping HOLE in the wall of our room that wasn’t covered up and the bathroom was dirty. A few hours after check in a cockroach ran across the floor of our room. We were appalled. We asked for a refund and they refused to give us a refund. After a long talk they ended up giving us a very small refund compared to the price we paid. Our room should not have been opened to book in that condition. There was another guest who also had to leave early due to the same reasons. I hope the hotel has improved since.

I regret to say that my stay at this hotel was highly disappointing. The property is outdated and in need of significant maintenance. The rooms are small and not well-maintained, and I found the overall cleanliness to be lacking. Additionally, the service was subpar, with staff being unhelpful and unresponsive to concerns. Given the quality of the accommodations and service, I found the price to be extremely high for what was offered. I would not recommend this hotel.

Really nice free breakfast and they saveed my luggage after check out and before check in. Close to Interlaken West Station. Warm room. Considering price, we are very satisfied with this room.

We were afraid when we saw all those negative comments but this hotel was fine, the rooms are clean and the Housekeeping team did a great job also the breakfast is generous and taste really good, it is true that you need to not be bothered by the hotpot smell in the evening. The only negative point is the Italian Receptionist who lack a bit of professionalism, saying out loud stuff like they can wait for one second when people are waiting for 5minutes in front of an empty desk , you can think this but should never say it, In a 5 stars hotel you would be fired over something like that .
