We spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed it. It is a perfect location - on the waterfront, and just a 3-10 minute walk from bus stops, restaurants, or pretty much anything else you'd want to see but also just far enough away to be quiet at night. The breakfast buffet was good, with waffles and eggs you could order to the table as well. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and very comfortable (though a little cold.)||My only complaint was the electrical wiring of the room. The bedside lamps could only be used together- turning one on or off did the same to the other. Also, the bathroom lights were all or nothing (sink, shower, toilet) which was an issue because 1.) there is only a thin curtain between the bathroom and the room so no way to really block the light when one person gets up at night, and 2.) it's controlled on a smooth glass panel next to the door that also controls the thermostat. If you are old, and it is dark, it's impossible to tell which button you're pushing, leading to a certain amount of cursing and fumbling as you realize you've just turned all the lights on and reset the thermostat. Under 40 yo's would likely be fine. LOL. Also, it seemed like the only setting for the thermostat was cooling. I could not figure out how to make it warmer in the room no matter how high I set the temperature.||None of this is really a deal breaker, but something to be aware of.||We were on the 4th floor, river view, which had 2 dormers you could see thru out into town. The 3rd floor rooms, directly under us, had a balcony instead.
