A Fantastic Stay in the Heart of Ghent! This hotel is simply amazing! Perfectly located in the heart of Ghent, it offers both convenience and tranquility. Our suite was spacious and packed with the most incredible high-tech features. With just a pull, the curtains closed automatically, and all electronic controls were managed from a single panel—pure luxury! And the best part? Even the toilet seat was heated! The staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast? Absolutely fantastic—fresh, varied, and delicious. Any downsides? Yes, we should have booked an extra night! The room exuded peace and comfort, with a thoughtful little treat waiting on the bed. If you're looking to be pampered, stop searching and book this hotel now. You won’t regret it!

I had a very enjoyable 3 night stay here. Fabulous location, a large comfortable room and an amazing buffet breakfast. Staff were all very friendly too. Yes, there are cheaper places but this a great hotel and I would strongly recommend.

Fabulous hotel right in the beating heart of Ghent. Staff were super friendly and the rooms beautifully presented with high quality fittings. Great vibe in the breakfast room with a wide range of really nice food. Location really is the trump card with lots of sights and restaurants within easy walking distance.

My wife found this gem and I am so glad she did! From the moment we stepped through the doors we were welcomed like we were family. The entire staff were super helpful and provided for every need or request. They were always available to provide insights and recommendations for fantastic local cuisine. Now our room, we had a canal facing room that has these wonderful 10' door/windows that opened to the walkway and canal below. It was a beautiful room. Now location, this place is in the heart of everything and you can be most anywhere within a 10-15 min walk. The main square is literally 1 minute walk away. I discovered that the husband and wife team that own the hotel were both on staff and on the front line; they really set the level of how a proper hotel should be run. I highly recommend staying at the Hotel Harmony!!

The hotel is so much nicer than depicted in the photos. We rented two rooms. One was downstairs outside. It was charming for our adult daughters. Our room was very spacious. The bed was very firm and could use a mattress topper. ||The hotel is on the canal and we enjoyed walking along the canal. It is close to the castle and the Christmas market. ||The staff are very very helpful and friendly. They recommended a local Indian restaurant for dinner and it was an excellent recommendation. ||If you are looking for a hotel that has charm, this is the place to stay.

Fantastic room with great views of the city and river.|Bath tub in room which was a great surprise. Large balcony, house keeping fantastic with a comfortable bed and pillows. Reception staff friendly and happy to help. The only thing which wasn’t such a big deal but would have been good if there were plug sockets next to the bed.|Would definitely return

We spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed it. It is a perfect location - on the waterfront, and just a 3-10 minute walk from bus stops, restaurants, or pretty much anything else you'd want to see but also just far enough away to be quiet at night. The breakfast buffet was good, with waffles and eggs you could order to the table as well. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and very comfortable (though a little cold.)||My only complaint was the electrical wiring of the room. The bedside lamps could only be used together- turning one on or off did the same to the other. Also, the bathroom lights were all or nothing (sink, shower, toilet) which was an issue because 1.) there is only a thin curtain between the bathroom and the room so no way to really block the light when one person gets up at night, and 2.) it's controlled on a smooth glass panel next to the door that also controls the thermostat. If you are old, and it is dark, it's impossible to tell which button you're pushing, leading to a certain amount of cursing and fumbling as you realize you've just turned all the lights on and reset the thermostat. Under 40 yo's would likely be fine. LOL. Also, it seemed like the only setting for the thermostat was cooling. I could not figure out how to make it warmer in the room no matter how high I set the temperature.||None of this is really a deal breaker, but something to be aware of.||We were on the 4th floor, river view, which had 2 dormers you could see thru out into town. The 3rd floor rooms, directly under us, had a balcony instead.
