Without an evening reservation, the receptionist was incredibly helpful and found a cancellation table for supper. |Pre drink in the bar area, lively with bar menu customers, a huge sports tv and music.|Restaurant menu good choices with gluten free options though no dairy free. I had butternut soup nothing special, though the crispy salted kale garnish added a lovely little twist.|Main course minted lamb, I asked to be slightly more cooked. It was delicious, though couldn’t taste mint. Served with nicely el dente vegetables and exceptional dauphinois potatoes. It was a lovely meal. |Some dishes of the restaurant menu also feature in the bar area, which serves food earlier. So it may mean you book a table for the restaurant but some seafood dishes are sold out to the bar customers before you are able to order. (6pm opening restaurant) |The restaurant and bar area miss a trick in not creating a more relaxed atmosphere with different music, lighting, and sense of Scotland. |The staff were polite and very helpful.|Toilets needed cleaning.

Nice hotel, well appointed with modern, immaculate rooms where everything works as it should. Rooms - or mine at least - are quite compact for a longish stay but I suspect this is the best hotel in Tarbert with a top restaurant and comfy bar downstairs. If you’re a light sleeper soundproofing is an issue; you might be troubled by a neighbor’s snoring! But earplugs are provided.

We only went to the bar on a short stopover for tea and cakes but it was a very welcome break and the cakes were delicious. Lovely welcoming, family friendly atmosphere at the bar with very comfy seating and Harris Tweed panels! Most importantly, all the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. I forgot my bag at the bar and ANGUS, one of the staff members who was travelling to Stornaway the next day, drove up to Lews Castle where we were staying and left my bag safely for me. We thought that was truly exceptional service - absolutely above and beyond. Truly impressed with all the staff at Hotel Hebrides, thanks ever so much to all. Best wishes, Frances

What a cute boutique hotel! The hotel has both contemporary and traditional touches. Our room was small and adorable. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and tidy, and the shower was hot. The towels were lovely as well. The bar was cozy and just what we needed. We met the ferry by walking across the street.

Stayed here for one night whilst waiting for the ferry the next morning. Beautiful hotel with a lovely welcome. Had a single room with had plenty of room, tv, tea and coffee, shortbread and a complementary wee dram. I ate in the bar in the evening, this had a good menu and excellent staff. ||Cannot fault the place

Fantastic refuge for a relaxed Sunday lunch - delicious pizzas and friendly and efficient service. Welcomes dogs. Very handy for pre ferry dining!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Hebrides Hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable and the shower was very powerful. It was a great base to explore Harris from.we had a room overlooking the ferry and I was a bit worried about the noise. I slept through the 7.30 ferry departure😂. You can hear noise from other rooms but this didn’t cause us any problems. The bar was very relaxing and beautifully decorated/furnished. Breakfast and dinner at the sea food restaurant were delicious. We will definitely stay again. Thank you.

The staff were welcoming, the room was clean, and had the usual tea, coffee, milk, etc. There was also a fridge. The hotel was close to the ferry, and the bus stop, a good central location. The walls must be very thin because I could hear the conversation going on in the room next to me, and I must have been near the kitchen because I could hear what sounded like a refrigeration generator or fan going most of the night.
